I haven't received a reply back from motor city showgirls so I don't know if I'm their type. I know my body isn't as toned as it should be and this pic doesn't do me justice. but any feedback would be nice.

Where do you think I could get hired at?

I don't know anything about dancing in detroit, but your body is nice and your face is cute, just stay away from urban clubs (they like girls with huge butts or amazing pole skills) and you should be good. Maybe the club you applied at is too full of girls right now, or wants girls with some dancing experience?

I've never seen you at our club. I'm sure you wouldn't have trouble anywhere.
I have danced for 11 years. I'm in St.Louis right now and was trying to get set up before I go out there.
Michelle.i wasn't working there for the last two years while you there. I left about two years ago, probably about when you started. Then came back in Jan. I started there when it was Diamonds and would work for about 6 months then leave for a year and just kept repeating that cycle.

Ohh sorry I wasn't paying attention and thought this was the newbie section!
You have good looking pics your face reminds me of faith hill. And your body is petite and slim so I agree with michelle11 about having and easy time getting hired.

im not dancing yet, but im in the metro-detroit area and have been doing my homework on the clubs before i jump in, Nina would be better suited to answer this but from i read all of the detroit clubs are urban and you might not fare well there, so try downtown detroit clubs or metro detroit like bouzouki, silver cricket, landing strip, the flight club, etc. avoid 8 mile clubs.
again this is from what ive read here, not personally experienced![]()
I called someone from the agency again and talked to a different person. They said they would set up an appointment when I get in town. I was looking at Flight Club so I don't have to get a dancers card. From reading, I know all the clubs are ridden with extras but I want to go somewhere that will be busy on weekends. Over the years, I have become talented at spotting the drunk guys. I find them easy to control and loose with their money.

I don't think you should have a problem with getting hired anywhere in Detroit. You are cute and have a nice body. If there's one piece of advice I could give you it would be to tone up just a bit. I think you'll get hired and make good money (as long as you know how to hustle), but the better in shape your body is, the more money you will make. Your overall physique is one of the most important factors in dancing. So, I would recommend cardio (it helps shrink your waist, not that your waist is big at all - it's a nice size, but there's almost always room for improvement) and SQUATS! Squats will improve your overall physique immensely. But again, you are very cute and have a nice body so I don't think you'll get turned away from many places, if any. Just make sure you're dressed 10/10 with hair and make up on point and you should be fine.
Good luck! Let us know how things go!![]()

You shouldn't have a problem. From what I know about Detroit-1. The economy could be better. 2. There are lots of extras. 3. I believe you need a license. I had a similar body type when I was drinking a lot-thanks, calories-and made great money at both urban and upscale clubs. PS-You may want to edit your bf? out of the first pic, unless you have clear permission to use his image on here.

Yeah you need a license in all the clubs within Detroit city limits. The metro clubs not located in Detroit don't need licenses except a few (Landing Strip in Romulus being an example, because you do need a license in Romulus. But I worked there for a good a 6 months at least before the topic of me getting a dance card was ever brought up). The other clubs like Flight Club in Inkster and Hustler in Lincoln Park don't need dance licenses. Except Hustler is a Deja Vu chain so you need an SS card.

I'm deleting the pic. I put it back up so nina could see it for a moment.
