Default When a Customer Asks for a Different Character

    What do you do?

Basically, as an escort my character/alternate persona is a sweet, softspoken, little girl-type. I do a lot (a LOT) of daddy/daughter and similar family roleplays, as well as a fair bit of teacher/student, ageplay, and such. So my character is usually seen as somewhat submissive, though I've near mastered topping from the bottom to keep myself safe.

This is particular client propositioned me for a $400/biweekly allowance to be his "step-daughter." After meeting him I graciously accepted. Now that we're actively playing, though, I've realized he wants me to dominate him as the step-daughter. Taking his money, tying him up and forcing him to eat me on demand. Which is all fine and dandy, I know how to domme, my ex-girlfriend from high school (still part of my friend group) snaps her head up with the most perfectly rigid posture at the word "pet" to this day.

But, he keeps asking me to be bitchier, meaner, whatever. Basically a "domme me harder" type sub - he sucks at being submissive. He's trying to top from the bottom, but it's not subtle at all. If I get bitchier, I lose my character. When I'm escorting, my character is my armour to live behind, and without her I don't think I can separate the job from life.

What at do you think, ladies? Drop him as a client, or is there some way to reconcile this?

Is there a particular reason you are set in only having one character as an escort? After all, the more roles you can play, the wider your customer base is. Just because you can domme in real life, doesn't mean that being a bitchy character while escorting will shatter your work/life separation. You're not domming as yourself when you're with this client or any other; you're domming as your escort name, and in this case, this man's "step-daughter." If that's not something you can separate internally though, then, yeah, drop him as a client for your own mental health.

Try the bratty princess approach - that is close to what you are already doing and might satisfy him - if you just are not feeling it then let it go - escorting has enough stress - pick your battles

I suppose I just need to take a couple days and really build a character specifically for this guy. Bratty princess is probably what I'll go for.

Starting to rethink him as a client, though. The money's good and steady, which is great for bills, but he expects near constant communication and keeps talking about our "future potential" ... weird shit like me moving in and living rent free, controlling his bank account, domming him 24/7. I just feel like I'm going to break his heart, which makes me feel guilty, but also makes me think he's invested too much in this and forgets it's a PROFESSIONAL relationship. Ugh.

sometimes they need "the talk" just to clarify what part is playing the fantasy and what is real - if him just talking keeps him entertained and he knows it is never actually going to happen then no harm IMHO -

That's the thing, I don't think he knows that. He's talking constantly about specifics. Blah.

I'd kind of like to drop him, but my backup plan was stripping and I just found out our area has a no contact law - dancers have to be three feet away from customers at all times. So no lapdances, no hustling, it's all stage and pole work. and there's only one club in my entire province. So that option is pretty much gone, and I don't want to throw away rent money.

BDSM can be about the fluidity of the roles, i found this article helpful http://clarissethorn.com/2011/11/12/...d-service-top/.

In terms of setting bondaries in the non-sexual sense i.e. appropriate contact levels, $ for time invested on your behalf, communication re. sexual exploration (his) then a talk before things go further is appropriate as NikkiFox suggested.

Human sexuality isn't set IMO; he is perhaps learning with you? As Trem? suggested, this is an opportunity for professional development, skills that will help you set you up for another cash cow.

I have done the no-sex sugar baby thing and what parallels here is the demands on my time vs perceived $ value of relationship. I believe that if I had set stronger boundries and stuck to my guns without fear of lost potential income then I would have been making more $ under better conditions earlier, even if only with the next client.

    Just a thought anyhow.

Thanks for that article. I think I'm going to have that talk with him tonight. Assuming all goes well, I'll go for bratty princess.

If he still doesn't get it, I guess I'm going to have to drop him.

    Thanks everyone

Late to the thread, but as someone 'almost too nice to be a dom', a friend advised me to think of things that make me angry to get into the character role - the IRS, an ex, etc. Dig deep and you'll find your 'inner anger' to let out 'when the sub needs it'!
