Default Lump near BA incision site-normal or worry material?

Hi all, it's the weekend here, so instead of contacting my surgeon I thought I would consult SW. I did a search, but couldn't find anything similar. I found a hard, painful lump about the size of a cherry tomato or grape near my incision site (arm pit) and I was wondering if it's normal (scar tissue etc) or something serious-has anyone experienced this? I'm 2 weeks post op and it's in the breast that needs correcting . Thanks, Olive x

    Contact your surgeon.

    Might be a lymph node.

    Is the lump movable?

My first thoughts; don't worry yet You're less than 2 weeks out and there are all sorts of shifts and nerve adjustments happening inside your body. A couple of days wont impact the whole overmuch...

    When have you arranged checkup?

PS. have texted you a few times?

    ^It is Starling

Flickdreams, that's true. I haven't scheduled a check up yet (I've had 3 post op ones so far) and will call the surgeon in the morning. Hopefully it's nothing, but if it is then at least it's in the boob that has to be fixed anyway.

I remember my surgeon saying something like this might happen and it's normal, but not two weeks post op. Definitely best to check with your surgeon.

^It was, but a very, very swollen one according to my surgeon.
