Default Does a rainy day make a night more profitable or less?

I've only been dancing for a week, so I'm not sure if I should stay home tonight or go to work. It's been pouring all day! Does this affect the flow of customers at all?
Im also pretty sure a regular is coming in today, and he loves the $200 VIP's. But I'm not certain if I should risk standing him up because its raining, even though he might not show?

I think it depends on the location of your club. When i worked on Bourbon st in new orleans it generally was pretty slow on a rainy night although a few people who got caught in the rain would come in. Now I work in a club in NYC thats next to several hotels so guys will come in because they don't want to walk around for entertainment further away and I generally do well bc of this and also bc a lot of girls won't come in so more money for me. I think you should go in and see how it is for your particular club since you are new. Especially if there's a chance you can see your regular.

Sometimes the rain does affect strip club business. Sometimes it has no affect at all, and the guys are going in to see some tits- rain or shine.

There really is no way of knowing unless you show up to see for yourself. I've stayed home because of the rain before. Other rainy nights I worked anyway because I needed the money, and I wasn't going to let rain kill that for me. It turns out I made okay money that night.

I think it's decent in NYC when it rains.

Here it's a death spell for the club... everyone panics when it rains. Suddenly the freeway moves at 45 mph max speed.
One Saturday, it rained for like 2 hours and every single customer stayed in the club (though their money had run out), so they wouldn't have to drive in the rain, and no new ones came in.

I think this depends mostly on your area. I live an area that it rains 9 months out of the year and customers are used to it so rain has no effect. Try a few rainy shifts and see if you notice a difference in earnings.

As far as missing the regular, you may want to consider a way to keep contact with good customers. Personally, I use a work email while other girls choose to use a burner phone.

I don't notice that much of a difference... I've had some nights when there was a snowstorm and made good money.

You could drive yourself crazy trying to predict if it will be busy or not based on any little thing. The reality is that sometimes a busy club doesn't even necessarily translate into a lucrative night. Your best bet is to just skip trying to guess if it'll be good or not and just go in when you can, especially when you have a regular coming in. The fastest way to lose a regular is to not be there when he goes in to see you, and although you can't 100% count on regulars, they can really go a long way so many are worth keeping happy.

I think rainy days can be profitable. Like Scarlettkitten mentioned men that are driven by nature to see beautiful women dancing will make the trip even in inclimate weather. And I am talking about regular rain not storm weather.

I also noticed less girls and less customers but the ones that do come in are ready to spend. They didn't travel all the way in the rain just to gawk and stare. I think if you can tolerate potentially slower shift then its highly possible to make money during rainy days or nights.

^^True. If it's storming w/ heavy rains, thunder, high winds, etc., I stay home.

I've never worked a rainy day as it was a dry August, but snow days in January were TERRIBLE. No customers, but just as many girls as normal because nobody wants to pay $50 to skip their shift.

Where I live is extremely dry and it seems that anytime there is inclimate weather (rain, snow, hail, what have you) the customers stay home. Then again, the area I'm from is in such a huge drought right now that I'm convinced folks around here forget how to drive the minute water starts falling from the sky.
