I live by coconut oil. I use it on my skin, hair and cook with it.

No not really. Whatever is cheapest. As long as it's 100% coconut oil then it doesn't really matter
And I believe virgin is better

Ok. I'm going to get the above one, it's virg. & organic.
*Extra virgin.

Im thinking to purchase this one, cuz im eating by gallons hahah http://www.tropicaltraditions.com/ex...oconut_oil.htm
Now i use viva labs, extra virgin. I used vita cost extra virgin. But i buy as big as possible. And after i distribute in small jars, like masson jars.

I get the kind from Trader Joes that's virgin organic or whatever it says on the jar. It's only like 5 bucks and lasts a while depending on what you're using it for. I use it on my skin and my hair it makes everything amazing and I would think the brand doesn't matter just the type of coconut oil.

I've tried TJ's brand and the Spectrum brand sold at Walmart and many other places. The Trader Joe's oil has less of a coconut taste than Spectrum. I hate coconut but oil pulling is a must, so I only by TJ's brand for this reason.

I order from etsy because I'm a hermit who hates shopping.
It sounds like the TJ's variety is a great deal though! A 16 oz of jar of cold pressed coconut oil goes for something like 14 dollas at Harris Teeter, efffffff that!

My favorite for baking is Lou Anna: it does not have ANY coconut taste but is very high in fat (the good kind, duh).
For stir-frying, I buy the refined kind because it's suited to stand the extra heat.

Costco has 2 big jars (sorry, I didn't look that close) for around $25. And knowing Costco, it'll be extra virgin, cold pressed and probably organic.

I'll check next time I'm there. I was buying some for a dog who had allergies (at my vet's suggestion) and felt like those big jars may be overkill. I have to go sometime this week, so I'll let you know!
ETA: I looked it up online. This may be what I saw. (so maybe only one BIG jar?)

That's a Big-Ass Jar.^![]()

I got a small upscale jar at Home Goods for about $6.00. I'll probably either get the next one from Trader Joes or from Costco.

Coconut Oil is everything.![]()

Ok, I did go to Costco today and bought coconut oil. I bought two 54 oz jars of "Kirkland Signature" Organic Coconut oil for $26. (not on sale and you have to buy two as they come in a two pack) They say they best until October of 2016, so I think they should be good until at least January 2017.
