Default weird experience during first outcall session

So, finally went on my first outcall after wanting to go indy for a while. I posted on BP and only a few guys went through screening. The guy seemed young and a little nervous but he said it was his first time and all of his info checked out. I get to the hotel and it's a reallyyy nice place. I was nervous and it was such a big lobby I didn't know where the elevators were. I didn't want to ask so after some casual wandering I took the elevator and found the room only a few minutes late. Turns out, he thought I was waiting in the lobby and had gone down.

I don't know if our texts got mixed up because of google voice, but it was nerve wracking waiting outside of the room for a couple of minutes. I didn't know what to do in that time - go back to the lobby, walk down the stairs, etc...I feel like I know all of the major points from working at an incall location, but all the little details escape me.

Thankfully everything else went fine, he was just a newbie client and really sweet - but I was worried about getting questioned. Did anyone go through stuff like this when they started? How did you get over the little things?

So your main worry is people questioning you why your there?

Just research the place before you arrive, phone and ask questions coz your disabled relative is thinking of holidaying, just checking access to floors etc

Put headphones on (no music) and walk around. People will be more likely not to talk to you or think you can't hear them if you ignore them. Or got distracted and ended up getting lost.

Oh shit! SOrry I was listening to something. Yeah Im meeting my boyfriend here at somepoint. Wheres the café?

^agreed, it's pretty easy to blend in. Generally I would not hang right outside the room, walk back to the elevators and look at your phone like you're busy doing something, maybe you're a tourist staying in the hotel trying to get directions. Or just move around. Most of the time people are so busy in hotels they aren't paying attention to you. I know I'm definitely not when I stay somewhere. When you really need to be careful about not getting spotted or drawing attention to yourself is when you're renting a room and working out of it.

I personally hated outcalls and spent a lot of money to have a place to work out of, but it was 100% worth it not to have to deal with travel time, nosy hotel staff, or feeling unsure about the safety of someone's home. However, you'll get the hang of it after a few outcalls. My first outcall I was an hour and a half late, got lost, and probably did 100 other things that made me look like the most unprofessional escort ever, and everything was fine. Being on time is something I never mastered, but the rest of it you'll get the hang of it.

I always dressed down for outcalls & if asked would say I was there to see my boyfriend or uncle. Beware though b/c once a hotel worker has made a point to ask you a question, they are already paying attention to you. (Most hotels have CCTV & can see you coming and going if someone is watching the feed.)

You can also ask the client to leave the door open....I have just walked into a room ASAP to avoid having people gawking at me. The hotel staff will assume you are supposed to be there if the door was open for you.

Outcalls can be scary but it does get easier as you go . Just blend and you'll be fine. Where I am parking is the biggest learning curve. It takes awhile to learn how to park cheaply ( meaning tricks such as buying a soda at bar to get parking validated free or using the same trick at some difference properties for valet).
Never hang in the hallways obviously .
Always request the info in this order : Hotel ? Tower ? Room?
I find that many customers overlook giving the tower or building and provide just the room which can slow you down as you arrive.

The headphones tip is great I live in a big city so the outcalls are probably mostly going to be to big touristy hotels (fingers crossed) and maybe some upscale ones. I went to a pretty big Marriott hotel yesterday and things went fine. I just have an irrational fear of not finding the elevators lol.

I remember reading something about Marriott hotels are not provider friendly. Something like employees are asked to look for unusual traffic. I think it was in an escort thread a couple of years ago. I did a quick search, but I couldn't find it. Anyway, glad it went well.

Yes the LDS church has a close tie with Marriott- they are actively against escorts on the property & co-operate with stings. (Stupidly they sponsored a BDSM festival in San Francisco...I am still not understanding that contradiction.)
