    Default Audition Advice Please :)

    Hi Everyone!

I am new on here and have an audition in two days at a local strip club, one of the top in SF. I have never danced before and my only experience is through club dancing with friends. I have been told I should Go-GO or strip but I am nervous that with my curvy (hourglass) figure I may not be "perfect" enough for the managers, also unlike most of the girls I have a very short hair cut! I am confident, but I could be a little more toned, but money is scarce and I don't have time to get in peak shape for this audition.

I have a red lace/satin bra and red panties with a red g-string under and some platform shoes. I have been practicing in the mirror and am feeling good. Is there any advice or pointers you might have for me? Any good music I should ask the DJ to play?

    Thanks!!!!!

All you can do is go in and give it your best. If you don't get hired don't take rejection personally. Keep trying, meanwhile hit the gym and eat clean.
A wig might help depending on how short your hair is.

I would also recommend wearing a wig. Even if you look good with short hair a wig would help you get hired. I had to chop all of my hair off because it got so dry. I didn't wear a wig for a few days and I noticed that my money went down big time. I'm wearing a wig now at work until my hair grows in. And make sure you look hot for the audition. Makeup done, sexy club attire, smile, be nice. And when you audition, smile and try as hard as you could to be sexy and try to connect with a t least one cust. Managers look to see if anyone tips you when you audition. And then if you tried your best and you still didn't get hired. F$ck em!!!! Don't let it get you down. Even the hottest girls get turned down SOMEWHERE!!!!! Good luck!!!

Thanks Ladies! This is all really helpful!

I might not have funds for a good wig before the audition, I have an okay long blond wig (i have naturally dark hair) but I don't know if I want to commit to that, might try and rock my short cut ( I think I pull it off) but if I get hired I will for sure get a wig - any pointers on some good types/qualities?

So, just a little update on that audition. Picking the GOLD CLUB, top club in San Francisco with zero experience was probably not my smartest move, but from what I've read and heard girls say San Francisco is not a good place to dance. Last night the manager saw that I had no experience and barely even watched my dance (which was all of 2 minutes long). The housemom was nice and the girls seems nice. The mom told me to try one of the smaller clubs like Little Darlings or something, but I'm considering just going to San Jose or the South Bay because it might be less impacted and I need money now.

Thanks for all the pointers and wish me luck!

Yes!!! KaraLynn is right!!! You need to get experience first. And you might've had a hard time making money at that club for a while. And the frustration and stress would've been too much.

Came across this story earlier this year. Seems this man decided to conquer his fear of rejection by getting rejected every day — on purpose:
