Not currently dancing, but Love ballet flats, & kitten heels. Maybe wedgies would be comfy?

Idk how you could pull off flats esp if everyone else is wearing 6 in platforms or higher.

Like whirlerz suggested wedges are what came to my mind. Round toe style should be comfy.

My friend has had bunion surgery and I gave her these heels as they were too wide for me-she says they are comfortable ( http://www.ellieshoes.com/showcase/P...OD_CD=C-JULIET ). I bought mine off eBay for around $50.

I have seen girls dancing in these, it could be an option:

Theres a girl at my club who dances in cowboy boots to country music. It's not my style but she's made it her 'thing' and customers might like it. She does pole tricks in them too. I'm not sure how ballet flats would look in the club though..

Asian markets/stores have cute flats that are cheap.. They're probably cheaper on the Internet....

I've never worked at a club that allowed heels below 5"..I guess boots would be an option though. Hopefully you're tall so you aren't dwarfed by everyone in heels.

I had to do this before. I got some cute ballet flats with rhinestones all over, and they were great. Bonus - It's a great conversation starter, since a lot of customers will notice that you're not in heels and ask you about it.

PS - Make sure your club is okay with it first!

Yea clubs can be picky about shoes (or anything) worn..
I wore a nice pair of black, open toe wedges & was told to "ditch the flip flops"
I'm glad you showed the Ellie pair, & said it's comfy..I may get those.

I've seen a girl dance in flat black boots (you know, the ones that look like elf boots almost). She rocked them with fishnets and it was actually pretty cute.

Check with the club, but also check local laws. My club lets girls wear boots or regular heels (from like Deb and Forever 21) but it is wear at your own risk. Our local law says the heels for dancers has to be more than 5 inches. The cops have never ticketed anyone in our club over it, but if they really wanted to be dicks....

That's fascinating. I'm imagining a bunch of old-timey white dude lawmakers sitting down and being like, "Well, the county still has subpar infrastructure, not enough teachers in the schools, and local businesses are struggling... But you know what, who cares? We need to make sure that our strippers are done up properly. How about an ordinance requiring them to wear those super sexy, extra-high heels? We can't have them wearing regular heels." And then they'd all harrumph in agreement.

Anyway! OP, it's definitely unconventional, but I think a pair of blingy open-toe flats would look really cute. I once worked with someone who wore jeweled sandals and was successful.
