Default GO TO WORK! *motivation thread*

I need this really bad. Maybe some of you do as well? Sometimes I will get ready for work and then decide not to go. This happens often, I hate it. I thought it would be nice to have a thread that motivates all of us to get off our asses and go in to work.

For example, I do not want to go to work tonight.. at all.

I'll use the following to motivate myself.. please add on to this!

Even if its slow, 98% of the time, you'll leave with more than you came with.
There could be a big spender in there tonight and you could walk with your weekly goal!
You have nothing better to do
    You'll regret not going in
YOU ARE YOUR OWN CEO, START ACTING LIKE IT!

    Agreed with all of yours!

    Even if it's slow...
    - maybe you'll get a funny story out of it
    - It's good exercise!
    - you can always learn something new... maybe a pole trick from another girl, or something useful from a customer
    - might meet a potential regular
    - lots of girls will give up and go home, and then any customers will be easy prey

And my final personal kick-in-the-ass... if you stay home, you'll be tempted to go spend money on shopping or eating out... easily $30+ gone. If you go to work, you can get Sbux/Chipotle/whatever junk food as a reward for going, $10 tops, and then make that back plus a night's profit.

I just remember that I'll probably come home with some profit. Even if it's $20, that's obviously more than I would make by staying home. Also, even if I don't make a lot, I'll be able to practice my dances, pole tricks, and my hustle. Every night is an opportunity to learn and progress.

I went in on a Monday night a month or so ago it was mlk day the club was totally dead and I met someone that night that's spent a truly unbelievable amount of money on me. You really never know who you'll meet. It's really changed my life all because I just went in, believe me I was on a losing streak I did not want to go but boy am I ever glad I did. Plus everytime I go in to work even if it's awful I still make enough to pay my phone car insurance something. Whenever I go in I treat myself to something though I think it's very important to be kind to yourself and treat yourself with lots of love if you want to go into work and have stellar results. I often get anxiety about going to work so that means that I need to be extra careful that I have time in the day to work out and get ready slowly.

Omg this is the perfect thread! I was going to work tonight but I'm sick and lost my voice.. but I'll be working tomorrow night as long as I'm mostly better.
I talk myself out of work too but it's good to remind myself of a couple things:

Any income I make is better than no income (or negative.. if I were to go out or spend money somewhere instead)
Look at the bills that need to be paid or debt that needs to be paid off
    IT ONLY TAKES ONE
I've never NOT made money.. even if it's less than $100 (which happened for the first time tuesday night..) that's better than $0
Slow/bad nights come with the job, we can't always bank every shift
I can practice hustle techniques, practice dancing, practice anything!
I'll get some exercise out of this, instead of sitting on my ass at home

It's just good to be positive. Tuesday night was the worst shift I ever worked at this club but instead of whining about how shitty it was like everyone else I just said I'm glad I came because I got my shoes fixed by the house mom. A bad night makes room for an amazing night. It's also good to think that your next shift could possibly be that amazing night, but you won't know unless you get your ass in there.

I set goals for myself and it's really the only way I can get myself motivated sometimes. I want to start Botox again and I want to see a show in Vegas next month. For those days where work seems impossible, I think of my Botox, I think about how much fun it'll be to see Skrillex live, think about rocking a really cute outfit and staying in an awesome hotel. It helps a LOT.

I think about walking out with all that cash! And how I will reward myself after work. And all that cash! And I remember that no one is forcing me to do this job, I could be working for someone as an employee, but I chose not to and I am the only one who can make the money, no one else! I remember that even girls who make $2K per night have to go through the same thing, they also have to motivate themselves to go to work.

I also think about how I've lost 10 lbs and that going in to work is good exercise and will help me lose more. Also my financial goals: savings, that awesome bag I want to buy and the car I will be getting, home decor, clothes, shoes, vacations, etc.

another small thing is think about how much effort and money went into your look. You've invested big $$$$ on your hair, nails, tan and outfit-- don't let it go to waste! Even on a bad day I still learn new things and my hustle evolves. I have monthly goals and daily goals so it helps if you treat it like a video game!! I must win all the coins and get all the regulars!!!

This is an awesome thread ladies! I need to bear in mind that i now have a weekly motel to pay for & that even on those good nights , I need to stash $$$ so I won't be out on the street. I got ready tonight to go in but between my migraine i had that hit me whilst applying my face for work, I skipped out :/ I promised myself I'd make it up tomorrow night & 4 shifts next week. Gotta stay positive~

I really need this thread right now. I need all the motivation I can possibly muster after working 3 consecutive bad shifts.

    Some things that motivate me:

-Looking at pictures of money or smelling money.

-Listening to really motivating, upbeat music. Nothing beats getting in the mood faster than listening to amazing music!

-Visualizing your future. I like to imagine being in my new home, or having a new computer, or a new outfit, or something fun I want to buy with the money. Thinking about paying bills or rent absolutely kills my lust for money, because it is stressful thinking. I hate paying bills. So I imagine the money for something fun instead. Of course this is hard to do when rent is due the next day. But you have to visualize something that will fuel your desire and upbeat attitude, not something that will drain you.

-Feeling your own sexiness. Worship yourself in the mirror. Experiment with your dancer outfits, hair, and makeup. Seduce yourself by dancing all sexy and sultry in the mirror. I've fallen in love with myself in the mirror many times, I ain't gonna lie. And it helps to motivate me to want to show myself off at work!

That's all I got for now.

Watching movies that glamorized stripping while getting ready always helped me. Showgirls, Striptease, Dancing at the Blue Iguana...and there were a couple of documentaries, too. Power of the Pussy and another one called "The Strip Game?" I forget what the second one was called...

I feel empowered getting ready, I look at ever shift as a challenge. In some of the higher class clubs girls have to pay for their shifts up front, like 100 bucks, IF you show, you get your money, if not.. SOL..( good shifts )
