    Default photographer help

Hey y'all, I'm currently a dancer but I want to make my own Web site to start camming and getting into being a PSO. I noticed the people who make the most/are the most popular have really nice pictures. At my club guys offer to take pictures of me all the time but I know they'd be crappy (they are more than willing to show their work) or they'd expect sex in return for the pictures. I searched through different "boudoir" photographers in my area and the pictures were really tame and not as sexy as I want to do. What I want is a more playboy/maxim feel to my pictures. I know that a good photographer will cost $$$$ and I'm willing to spend. I'm worried about scaring an engagement/wedding photographer by asking them to take explicit photos for me!!!

A wedding photographer wouldn't be right. Different market plus they wouldn't likely be used to the different lighting and retouching set up.

If you want a maxim photographer just check out the credits page? Call up the mag and ask who they shoot with? You could hire one of the photographers or their assistant. They do this day in day out.

I got Boudoir done recently and they were definitely more R rated than the pg13 website examples.
Just email a few and ask! What city ( pm if you'd like ) ?

Make sure the photog deletes all the pics off of his camera & card otherwise he might keep them for who know what purpose. I've been lucky to deal with professional photogs but there's always going to be that "creep with a camera." That's now considered a societal institution.

Maybe check out websites of other girls who work in the adult industry (escorts, massage providers) and try sending an e-mail to the girls whose pictures you like. They might be happy to refer you to their photographer.

My photographer is really great, she's used to working with independent escorts, glamour models and she even worked for popular men's and glamour magazines. Of course she also does wedding shots and more regular work...

I would also recommend checking out the Facebook page of photographers you want to shoot with, usually it's a good way to have an idea about the type and quality of work they do.

Modelmayhem can be really good for that. I go through their portfolio and check their credits, then message the girls in the photos asking how it was like working with him. Or check their tags and if they have positive ones, go the profiles of the people leaving them and see if they're real. I had a portfolio from when I used to do art modeling and the guy was happy to do a trade shoot.

I'd also second iphone photos - get a friend to help out, maybe shoot in a hotel room so you have a good background.
