So my last shift I started dancing on the empty side pole and had a customer come sit in my area to watch. I danced with about the same style as before he sat down since he had not put any tip money on my stage. About 30sec into the song he finally put down a single one (already agreed with myself I would leave the pole if the song had finished and he didnt tip.) Since he had given somthing I turned my attention to him and made the dance a tad bit more personal making sure he got a good view ect.
He stood up after about 10sec of that and started to walk away but first turned to me and said "You know, if you were more willing to grind on your customers you'd make a lot more money."
Im actually pretty proud of myself because my first reaction was to laugh really hard and say, "You expect me to grind on you for a dollar? Tell me, what are you willing to do for a dollar?" He quickly got all defensive "Im rich you know!"
"I'll tell you what, if you buy a dance with me I'll grind on you."
"How much is a dance?"
"$20"
"I can spend more than that!"
(Really confused at this point.) "Alright then, lets go."
"Well no, but if you were my girl Id treat you like a queen!" (Starts walking away.)
"Alright dude, thanks for the dollar lol."
He comes back to the stage and hands me three more dollars and leaves.
So yeah, a more comical wtf moment. Also this happened on my second night as a stripper. I feel pretty good about it because I had enough self worth to know my attention was worth far more than what he was willing to give me. But Im curious as to how more experianced dancers would have handled it? Do you think it was the best thing for me to brush him off and spend my time elsewhere or do you think I should have tried harder to get more cash out of him... then agian my bet was that he didnt have any. Also, does anyone else have some funny/annoying stories to tell about a customer who offered you a single?
