Default What do customers think of dancers who wear wigs

When I danced I never gave it much thought (despite I wore wigs from time to time), but I've always felt curious about what customers think of dancers who wear wigs.

That very much depends upon the wig and the look you are trying to achieve with it. I have gotten dances from girls who were wearing wigs, but there have also been a couple where the wig made them look less attractive then they really were.

A lot of clubs are pretty dark. If it is a good wig, I probably won't notice. If it's a bad wig, well I'd probably be unable to stop staring to see if it might slip off

All else being even, I probably would prefer without. I like it when, during a lapdance, the dancer tilts her head over and her hair brushes my face -- just feels nice and smells good. If it was a wig (and i knew it was a wig) -- well, that would be a little like smelling the drapes. If it didn't know it was a wig, i guess i'd be none the wiser.

I do think that this is something only at the margins -- if a girl is good looking overall, she would be good with me, whether she has a wig or not. But if you have shorter hair, i would recommend going au naturale. I think that the shorter hair look can be cute, and is a little different in the club. Actually, the one hairstyle i don't think that i have ever seen in a club is a pixie cut. a pixie cut is pretty unforgiving and not everyone can pull it off, but when it works, it really works. i thought it made anne hathaway look too much like a boy, but i thought it was great on miley cyrus. and actually i find carol from the walking dead strangely attractive in her own way.... but i may be in the minority on that one.

Not a fan of wigs. During lapdances it never feels or smells as good as real hair. They also tend to look fake. I won't rule out wigs in all circumstances because there are certainly times when a dancer looks good in a wig, but, then again, they probably look great without the wig too.

I work with 3 girls who wear wigs; 2 of them are OBVIOUSLY wigs and one you can't tell. The 2 that are obvious, I've had so many customers comment on and say it looks bad. The other one, nobody has anything to say about it except "Wasn't she bald yesterday?" because sometimes she doesn't wear a wig. Sooo I think it depends on the quality of the wig.

    Yeah it really does.
I knew a girl who wore this really bad blonde synthetic wig. You know the ones where it's super shiny and has no movement. She still made money but customers did comment on it to me.
I also have a friend who wears synthetic wigs but they look really good and she blends the front of her own hair with it so it doesn't look fake.
So it really depends on what wig it is

And your response should had been something along the lines of: "well, but she has a regular who has a wig fetish so that's why she wears them. Forget about her, let's have fun." If you say something negative, the customer may use it negatively against you in the future. Then you "burn" her on tumblr.

The thing w/wigs is, they need to be professionally cut/thinned out. Most of them have too much hair. Also, there's a tool you can buy to get the shine out. That said, if they're really cheap prob. not much is going to help.

I wear wigs a lot just to switch it up. I think most men would prefer you without however depending on what look you’re going for or your outfit they can make you look really hot.

I find this endearing and adorable. And I like that you appreciate such a thing.

I get accused of wearing wigs pretty regularly. I'm not that good looking and I don't have that great of a body, but I have awesome hair. I try to do pole inverts on every stage set so that guys can see that my hair is real and isn't going to come off if he wants to run his fingers through it during a dance.

Depends on the wig. Something cheap and synthetic is not going to compliment any stripper's look.

A human hair, good brand wig can look nice, and under those circumstances, I haven't noticed many guys diss a dancer's wig if the wig is a nice one.

A custom made, Remy, sewn in wig will look very natural and add to the stripper's appearance. I've never worn a wig but if I ever decide to go blonde I'd do it this way to avoid bleaching my real hair, and it will look flawless.

I think most of 'em are so drunk, they wouldn't notice if the dancer was wearing a 10 gallon hat.

Do people really look to see if a dancer is wearing a wig?

Saw a dancer last night that was wearing a wig. It was rather obvious that it was a wig. It was her night off and she was talking to some other dancers at the club. She naturally has a pixie cut, but she wears them quite often, as a matter of fact she was showing pictures of herself in different wigs. In some of them it very natural, in others it was more obvious that she was wearing a wig. It just reaffirmed for me that if the wig works with the rest of the outfit, that as a customer I would not decline getting a dance from a dancer that was wearing a wig.

I have to add after a convo yesterday with a customer... if you're going to wear a wig, don't do odd things with it.

Our resident baldilocks wig-wearer apparently took hers off and hung it on the railing before going on stage, then retrieved it afterwards. This customer thought it was hilarious and bizarre, and not attractive at all.
