    Default Working through Illness

I'm not seriously ill, I have a cold. I feel a bit pathetic asking this, but so many of you force yourselves to work through minor illness? Or do you see it as potentially more damage than good.

I managed 2 shows yesterday, I almost fainted during the second one which was when I logged off and realised the 'funny head' I woke up with was a bit more. All of yesterday I was hot and cold sweats, my face is swollen and puffy and I'm sniffing constantly. I don't want to look in the mirror and I'm pretty sure nobody wants to pay for that!

my OH also works from home and often works through illness but his work is computer based and he can go at the pace he wants when he is ill, doesn't have to face to face with clients at all and pretty much builds his own deadlines for a lot of his work. He cants really see that this is very different to someone paying for a fantasy where you need to look at your best!

i didn't totally waste yesterday, I did research and planned content for my profile. I've just woken up this morning really short of breath and head spinning having huge sneezing fits and snotty (yay) I'm not work shy, I actually would rather be working than sitting here feeling crap! I'm not after sympathy I guess I'd just like to hear someone else say that yes it's my business and if I feel I need the day off or am not up to working then it's ok to take it.

I personally think its better to just rest and take care of youreself so you get better quickly, than to keep working and let your cold linger on. Working with half of your energy and staying sick longer is not my thing neither

Go rest and get better soon!

I agree with IvyRose. Take care of yourself and rest!

If you just can't take the boredom anymore, take snotting and coughing vids of yourself and put them on Clips4Sale. I hear that the coughing vids are a hot commodity!
