PMme, I can answer any questions you may have.

I don't know what the original question was, but this is exactly what I was searching for. I just signed up and I can't do anything. I can't post, or email. I have no profile. I can't communicate with other girls. I can't seem to find any kind of manual, and they didn't send any links for newbies in the welcome email. I don't even know what I'm supposed to do once I do get it figured out. I found something about posting ads, but I don't have a working website yet, so can I just put up pictures & contact information on TER? I realize that there is a generally negative attitude about review boards on this site, but I'd like to try it for myself and then decide. I'd love any help and information anyone is willing to give me. Thanks

I am having this same issue. I literally just wasted $40 to not even be able to post my ad.
You need to contact them and let them know you're a provider...

Maybe email them and explain you're unsure how to set-up your profile? They should be able to send you a link or instructions. I'm sure you're not alone.
Not a provider, a hobbyist, so don't know the specifics for you girls.
I joined in early Summer and don't remember it being too confusing. Once I submitted two reviews I got a 30 day VIP membership. I then submitted one more which extended me to 45 days. I haven't seen any TER listed girls since so my membership has fallen back to the free, Basic membership.
For the guys the Basic membership is pretty limited - no searching, no provider details, can't see the detailed reviews, ratings, no PMs, etc. I don't feel like paying the monthly access fee at this point so will just see the occasional new girl and provide a review and get my 15 day full access window. I'm scheduled to see a new girl in the upcoming week.
In googling "how to become a provider on TER" I gather the girls are entitled to one free ad a week. But it also sounds for full VIP access there's a fee involved. Whether the Basic membership is as Spartan as it is for the guys I don't know.
Good luck. I for one definitely take the TER reviews into consideration.

So here's what I've learned since my last post. You have to contact them after you sign up and then they give you posting privileges. For the girls it's basically like you don't exist until you let them know you've signed up, but once you contact them they're always very helpful & respond quickly. Believe me, I have had LOADS of rambling questions to ask, and they never once seemed irritated.
As a newbie all your posts are moderated, so it could take a day, or 30 seconds for your posts to show up in the discussions.
As a newbie you won't have access to private messaging unless you buy a VIP membership. If you buy VIP membership you have access to PMs as well as all the reviews. When you get your free VIP membership by being reviewed you will only have access to your own reviews unless you continue to pay for VIP membership.
You can post one ad per week in the advertising section for your area with whatever information you need on it & a link to your website/TER profile/ad directory page/...
You won't have a TER profile page until someone reviews you, but you don't need one to post ads & post comments on the discussion boards.
Guys will post comments looking for services in your area in the regional discussion boards and you can reply with a link to your website/TER profile/ad directory page/... in your post if you want to apply for the job. Hahaha.
I believe you can post a picture of yourself in the photos only area every day, but you can't use the same photo within 30 days. I'm not sure all my information is correct about that last one. I don't remember where I read it.
I think the general idea is just to put your weekly ads up & then keep trying to draw attention to yourself & showcase your personality by posting in the discussion boards that you have access to.
I think you have to be a good contributor to discussions for a while, and have at least 3 reviews to get into the providers only section. From what I've read I think it takes a little bit of time & effort before they let you in.
Lastly, what I've learned so far is that there is a small group of guys who seem to comment on nearly every single post. I have no idea where they find the time since it's literally my job to do that but I can't find the time. Anyway, they seem to try to bait people to say the wrong thing a lot of the time so they can make mean comments. I'm not sure if it's because they're mean people, or just because they want to see how girls react to those situations, but it seems like no matter how rational some of the comments are these guys will find a way to twist the wording & mock the poster. It seems unavoidable. Just be prepared to deal with it however you choose.

Now what I'd like to know is when is the best day/time to post my ad. I wish I could find metrics on something like when men tend to search the internet for "casual encounters". Maybe I'll just try posting every 8 days to see when I get the most interest. TEResearch LOL
You don't have to pay to post ads either. You will be able to see any reviews you get for free. The only reason you pay is if you want to read other people's reviews. I submitted my site to their site listings and let them no I was a provider and then I was able to post ads. I'm not sure if you can post ads without a website. The state that I'm in doesn't have that many providers who post up consistently on TER so my ad doesn't get buried fast.

I believe that is the case, the first review has to be done by a client. Providers have the ability to manage the information on their profiles.
Some interesting convo about maintaining an accurate profile here:

Another interesting technique is to 'Update' your weekly ad posting - add a new photo, notify of travel plan changes, etc. It doesn't bring it to the top, (like Backpage) but is great if you change locations / decide to stay somewhere an extra day, etc.

Omg this thread was so helpful
I just finished registering with TER and you really need let the support team know that your a provider and within a few hours you should be able to post now I'm just trying to figure out how to add a photo to my post
So how can you identify if they're LE or not are the men reviewed as well?

No, and assume they are LE until you know otherwise
