Dizzy Tech Difficulties! Webcam mic feedback??

So sorry if this has been posted before, I searched and couldn't find anything. I have the logitech c910 and it records video with audio just fine but I was setting up to begin camming and previewed my feed... as soon as I select the webcam microphone in the settings it takes off with this quick buildup of echo-feedback that gets so loud it almost busts my eardrums. It calms down if I'm completely silent but if I so much as tap a key on my keyboard it skyrockets again. Does anyone have experience with this and advice on how to solve it? I can't start camming until I get this sorted out.

Have you tried playing with the sensitivity meter in Preferences?

Otherwise I have no ideas, except getting the webcam and microphone away from the sources of noise. But feedback seems excessive. o.O

It does that to me too when I check my feed. But my customers don't complain. So its just me and my noise interacting with the mic. Just stay logged in and see what happens. It's probably fine.
