I have found through decades of training that it's not the length of the cardio - it's the intensity. Interval training where you go at least at 90 % of your max speed for 20 to 30 seconds then go at 50 % for 20 to 30 seconds and repeat until your body tells you to slow down works very well. Burns more fat and builds more muscle too.
