    Default Reverse Phone Look-Up, Telemarketers

I suspect that a lot of people are like me in that they hate getting telemarketing calls. These are most rampant on my home phone, though every once in a while, one slips through the cracks on my cell phone. This happens, even though (I think) I put number on do not call list. Perhaps I need to renew request annually or register with multiple companies ? Please share your tips/experiences along those lines.

Lately, my pet peeve has morphed into another one: these "Free Reverse Phone Lookups" that turn up on search engines. They really aren't free as they all seem to inevitably charge something and/or ask for a credit card. Has anyone actually used these services? Are they legit or a scam ? Lastly, does anyone have a reliable reverse phone look up link that is really free ? (Note- I've generally done OK on white pages when I have a name, but no number. I've done real well when I also have an address.) Thanks for info/ personal experiences with this.

There used to be a lot of good information on the internet, free. Now "businesses" (using the term loosely) want to charge for it, and it is garbage. Have you tried just Googling the number? (Even then most of the stuff is garbage. These people have ruined the internet.)

Years ago I found a really good reverse phone lookup site that would give me the name and address of whoever called, even cell phones. But they disappeared awhile ago and now I can't find any info worth a shit without paying a site, and even in the few instances that I really wanted to know and used it, they still didn't give me any information worth a damn. It's really unfortunate.

There are some legit reverse phone sites that are free but can't remember them offhand. I don't usually answer my phone if it doesn't say who it is because it's usually telemarketers. The worst though are political ones, I've gotten into arguments with them because I didn't like their cause or candidate and they resorted to calling me names. I told one if they called me again I'd show up to beat the crap out of them. I wouldn't but this person was an asshole.

Honestly, there are no truly free reverse phone lookup sites. The only way you can find it for free is if it's on google. If not, you have to pay. The best one I have used is StumpTheMonkey.com. Their manual trace reports are $40 but they have a 95% hit rate and include a name and up to date address.

I loved going to strip clubs; I actually made some friends there. Now things are different for the clubs and for me. As a result I am not as happy.

Customers are not entitled to grope, disrespect, or rob strippers. This is their job, not their hobby, and they all need income. Clubs are not just some erotic show for guys to view while drinking.

NOTE: anything I post here, outside of a direct quote, is my opinion only, which I am entitled to. Take it for what you estimate it is worth.
