I was looking for a club to audition in the OC and decided to try out Sahara Theatre. I believe they are under new management, So I figured the club wouldn't be as bad as previously stated. I called and was told to come in with my ID and dance attire. I arrived to the club at 8 o'clock last night. There is a way you can see the stage from the main entrance. There was a very talented black dancer doing pole tricks. As a newb, its intimidating to see other dancers doing pole tricks. The music selection was mostly hip hop and r&b. There were two couples in the audience. I let the man in front know I was there to audition. I filled out an independant contractor card & gave him my ID. He asked if I wanted to work tonight and I told him yes. He takes my information to management. He comes back and tells me the club was too slow for me to audition. He recommended that I come back at 7:30 on friday, when the club is busy. Which is not going to work for me since I'm scheduled at my vanilla job. I left and sat in the parking lot of TJ's showgirls debating if I should go in. I ended up leaving....
