Default Two logitechs on one laptop - controller issues

I am using a Logitech c920 on adultwork justcamit and have my logi 9000 set up for Skype on the same laptop. Problems are occurring because the 9000 keeps resetting itself after every session. So I keep having to reset the colour etc as it turns the exposure right down, which obviously is distracting when I'm trying to cam on the other site at the same time. Also when I pull the controller up it usually defaults to whichever cam I plugged in first and takes lots of messing around to get it to switch to the other one. Grrr, pulling my hair out!

does anyone know if you can run two lots of the Logitech controller? Or if there's a way to fix the settings on the 9000 so they stay as I put them?

Im kinda having the same issue at the moment. Except I have two 920's and a bcc950. The 920's are a pain in the butt to adjust. What I did was download the drivers for the C910 to be able to make adjustments. One comes out better than the other but at least it doesn't look like I just plugged it in. And I couldn't find any third party software that doesn't default to the Logitech software for changes. It's really tricky. I hope someone has a solution.

Can you use an iphone or ipad for Skype instead? I used to film my cam shows, and used my partner's laptop for cam and my own laptop for filming, with both cameras sitting on his laptop.

It's a bit complicated bc I need to use the windows lappy for skyprivate as the plugin doesn't work on the Mac and likewise justcamit (don't like being restricted to the lite version plus can't change webcam settings on it). Fucking mac, £800 lappy and I can't bloody use it for anything important!

I use one Logitech 9000 (skype) and one 920 (sm) and i just got the e930c (KL) to replace my last broken 920. I usually use the controllers on the first one i plug in, then put that into the encoder (so its in use) then I do the next one, put it in the encoder, and then the 9000 i use for skype is last. my settings usually always stay, I can't get the 930 to get rid of the yellowish tint it seems to have (I may return it for another 920)

I have never had a problem with the settings resetting

Have you ever used two 920's simultaneously?

yes, I used to up till about 1 week ago, 2 920's and 1 9000. and I did things the same way, I never had any issues with it staying, now if I were to unplug my 930, i actually have to rest the coloring, I'm not sure it its just that camera., but I never had to do it with the 2 920's

I just removed the Logitech software from my computer all together. AGAIN. But this time I went into my Skype application and accessed Video settings >> Webcam Settings and up pops a box called Video Capture Filter Properties. This is what my bcc950 has when I used the Logitech software. I prefer this because I know what settings I prefer. You can manually bring the dial down to the EXACT number. I save the settings on a sticky and just enter them. This just worked for my 920's. This works for me in external apps like encoders and what not. I have not had a Skype show yet to see if it resets. These webcams are advertised as plug and go devices and are not supported with software. Logitech is aware of the compatibility issues with different op systems and updates.

Yes but you have to remove the Logitech software or it will go back to that software controls for default. Skype and now I realize that many other apps probably have their own as well. Hopefully this work around will get me through the weekend.
