Default Sports bras for small band/large cup?

I'm ready to get back in shape, but I'm not sure what to wear to the gym. I went shopping for a basic sports bra today (at a Champion/Hanes store) and NOTHING fit. I just want something basic to wear at the gym/while working on my house/etc. Preferably black and with some padding because I have the kind of nipples that always poke through everything.

My boobs aren't even that big! I think I'm supposed to be a 32E or 32F, but I have a 34DD bra that fits reasonably well (maybe a little small in the cups and big in the band, but well enough), and I'm pretty sure 34DD is a very normal bra size. I look like a normal woman!

    Shopping recommendations, anyone?

Have you tried going to a specialty lingerie shop and getting your 'european size'?

Check out the sports bras on this site - http://www.bravissimo.com/products/l...e/sports-bras/ - I really like the panache one.

They've usually got lots of 32E's and F's.

Invest in a good sports bra. You don't want to damage your body (product) out of thrift. Bouncing can really damage tissue.

^^^I want to invest in a good one, but I'd like to be able to try it on in person. I live near several nice lingerie shops, but AFAIK none of them sell sports bras. I'm thinking about arranging a ride out to the suburbs to try a Victoria's Secret or something (I don't drive), but I don't want to waste my time.

Give them a call and ask. Many high-end bra lines (Anita, PrimaDonna, even Freya) make sports bras, and many lingerie stores will carry them.

Also, bravissimo has excellent customer service if you'd like to call them - they've never gotten a size wrong for me.

Vic Secrets does have some good sports bras I hear. I don't know a lot about their lines though.

    32F, you don't say... http://www.figleaves.com/us/ranges/d...ting=undefined

Returns are easy enough. If it doesn't fit, send it back.

I swear by the Panache underwire sports bra. It comes in a bunch of colors and gives a seriously amazing shape. It makes me look like I have fake boobs. No more compression style mono-boob lol. You can order them on Amazon which makes returns a lot easier. If you have Prime you can get them with free 2 day shipping too!

Go to lululemon. I am sure they have something that will work for you.

Thanks, everyone! Now that my implants have mostly settled (4 weeks post-op), they're sort-of spilling out of the 34DD bra I bought a week post-op. I think I need to go back to a nice local lingerie shop to get re-sized (32E/DDD or 32F/DDDD was my guess after recently measuring myself), then check out those links!
