    Default Ordering take-out at work

How often do you order take-out at work?

I am one of the rare people who rarely order food at work. I always bring my own lunch and snacks but the girls I work with order out pretty much every shift and sometimes more than once in a night.

I love going out and eating at a nice restaurant but I don't like stuffing myself with McDonalds, pizza, hamburger, fries and the junk restaurants that deliver late have to offer (except occasionally). Some coworkers even made comments about how I never order out, they probably think I am cheap lol

Do you usually bring your own snack or order food when at work?

I always bring some food from home, or buy light snacks on the way in. I eat a light dinner before shift and when I get home I have a bigger meal.

I don't like the idea of eating a big hot meal throughout a shift, it takes too long and I would feel lazy afterwards and bloated etc. I look forward to eating lots when I get home!

When I worked day shift these broads would order takeout every day but I rarely eat during shift cause most takeout is junk most kitchen food is junk and I feel bloated sometimes and I don't want anything to make me fart (even though some guys deserve to have some fart in their face when they act like idiots).

But I don't eat before or during shift cause I want to look model skinny. I do eat after though.

I eat a light meal before work and pack a granola bar, some fruit, a sandwich for work. Not only is take out unhealthy but expensive as well. Though I sometimes would kill for a pizza when the other girls order it.....but I just say no.

If I do order I get steamed chicken and broccoli. I try to eat very healthy at home beforehand, though.

Yea, a lotta restaurant food's heavy, salt/fat/sugar etc. as mentioned expen$ive too. You can order it plain if possible, I think it's better/cheaper to have your own..
If you're lucky.there's a Whole Foods or similar w/hot/cold salad bar on the way to grab a nice veggie meal.
Once I went in w/a girl that wanted to order, they of course have a minimum for delivery..ended up getting sick

If you're hungry, you need to eat. Dancing burns a lot of calories, the stress, dealing w/custies etc. When I go bk, I plan to bring Quest bars, 20gr of protein, low sugar. Also other snacks, I usually like to eat pistachios, fruit etc. Maybe some tofu.

^I always have a Quest bar in my bag (they have a new smores flavor lol) or nuts, fruit etc just in case. By not ordering out, you do save money but you also eat healthier instead of just opting for whatever is open at that time.

We have a bar/restaurant next to the club and I love ordering their Asian Chicken salad OMG it is so good. I've also ordered a wrap from there that was yummy. So, yes I am one of those girls ordering food lol. No shame! At my old club the other girls would joke about me constantly eating snacks in the back (it was a slower paced club). I bring power bars as back up but I never want to eat them.. for some reason those things just don't taste good at work but they taste amazing after the gym, lol idk why. I'm definitely not the one to eat a pizza or burger or even a sandwich (too much bread) because I get bloated and it's noticeable. I see a lot of girls eating those things and i don't know how they do it. If I'm hungry I am in the worst mood so anything thats yummy and filling and wont give me a food baby is good for me.

Substitute vegetables for the carbs and tell 'em "no salt".

Ugh the girls at my club were always ordering pizza, Chinese, fried chicken... the last thing I'd wanna do after that is go work the floor with a food baby.

I usually either eat at home and then bring Sbux with cereal/granola bars/etc. to keep my energy up, or if I don't eat at home I'll bring a Chipotle burrito and eat it in 3rds throughout the night. I don't like eating a big huge heavy meal and then trying to work!

Same here. My club has the most unflattering stage lighting that makes everyone without a six-pack look vaguely pregnant. It really sucks, so if I do eat at work it'll be fruit or a salad.

I rarely get delivery to a club. Years ago, a dancer told me she never orders food to the club bc she doesn't know if the delvery/owner/ worker might hate dancers. They might have been screwed over by one, judgmental or just a hater. And might then do something bad to the food. I though about it and then decided not to order food to a club.

Good point! Plus I overheard someone being harassed on the phone while trying to order a pizza, she was like, "What? I just ordered from here last night. What do you mean you don't deliver to businesses anymore? ... My name is Diamond. ... Who cares if it's my real name? ... Why do you need a home address when it's going to be delivered to my work?" Poor thing just wanted dinner and some creepazoid was basically trying to stalk her. People are so weird and scary!

I never eat at work. I usually go in around 10-11pm and am home by 4-5am. I eat supper around 7:30pm. No need to eat during the shift. I never have. If I feel hungry, I get a glass of orange juice or can of pineapple juice from the bar. Then again I am not an energetic stage performer, I make 99% of my money in rooms.

When girls stuff their face with pizza then jump on the spinning pole....how do they not throw up?? I do small snacks throughout the night. Nuts, fruit, some protein. Nothing that makes you bloat.

When I was super skinny I used to stuff my face before work and by the time customers were coming in the bulge had receded and wasn't noticeable, when i'm fat though i don't do that hahaha.

I never usually ate at work at all, I get too bloated. I'll just bring nuts and fruit to gobble down once works over. If i'm bored or not making money though i'll go get some food or order it in (whatever the club allows) usually salad or hot chips.

^^^^This is why I love stripperweb! When I go to the movies with my friends its always an argument about why I don't want to buy 200 high calorie snacks to take in with me. Why am I being so healthy? Accusatory glares. I now go to the movies by myself.

My work has a really great takeaway place that does grilled chicken and salad. No sauce. I love that but I usually bring my own snacks - tuna, chicken, fruit etc

"Second Chance is a body armor manufacturing company and was the first one to use kevlar for body armor. The company was founded in the early 1970s by former U.S. Marine and pizza delivery owner/driver Richard Davis. Davis developed the idea of a bulletproof vest after shooting three armed robbers in self-defense during a delivery. This incident was later documented in a 1995 book written by firearms instructor Massad Ayoob called The Ayoob Files: The Book. According to Reader's Digest April 2014 "Extraordinary inventions by ordinary people", Davis did not do the shooting but was the victim, being shot twice."

People in the delivery business have to be careful.

I'm just curious why so many of you eat at work? Do you work very long shifts, not eat supper beforehand or something? Even a rare 8 hr shift I don't feel compelled to eat because a) I can't sit in the DR, it drives me nuts, because I think people are coming in and I'm missing them b) I eat very well beforehand and c) I can't stomach spending my money on delivery food.

I have a very fast metabolism, I always eat before, during and, after work! Lol
I tend to work double shifts (12 hrs) but even when I work 5-6 hours I still need to eat.

If I don't eat every 3-4 hrs I have no energy and feel like I'm gonna faint.

    ... I just love eating
