    Default Big tip stage songs?

Every time I play Rick Springfield's "Jessie's Girl" I get good tips, like minimum $25. (Then I end up selling dances.) I try to mix in 70's/80's rock/metal with newer alternative/pop/hip hop to catch a more diverse crowd, but this one song seems to draw in a lot of people

I'm curious if y'all have any songs that regularly (or occasionally) rack up tips?

It seems like upbeat, songs that everyone knows bring the most tips. When I worked at my last club, my go-to weekend set was Tupac's California Love and Big Poppa by Notorious BIG.

My best stage sets overall though have been when I was dancing to a track someone really liked so they made it rain.

Yep, upbeat usually wins stage tips. Really sexy songs are almost as popular (imo)

For me it's always been slower songs you can look super sexy dancing to. Getting really into it like you're having sex on the stage has gotten me a lot of tips lol.

Right now the set I'm obsessed with is Yes No Maybe and All We Do by Trey Songz (normally I hate his music but these are an exception)

Anything by Iron Maiden, Metallica, Guns N Roses and other metal/classic rock bands are widely appreciated by men of all ages. I usually get big tips and requests for dances with those songs. Also popular are ''Cherry Pie'' by Warrant, and ''18 and life'' by Skid Row. Most of the men who regularly go to strip clubs are older white men (not all clubs but most). They tell me they love my taste in music and how I'm one of the few that doesn't dance to rap/r&b.

Thanks everyone, I will def try this stuff out! We use a jukebox and I'm always struggling to think of songs to search/choose, not to mention ones the customers will like.

I find that older guys are bad stage tippers. I dance to really ghetto hip hop that's really upbeat and young guys make it rain. But I think it's regional. When I worked down in the keys I danced to old rock and people loved it because they were mostly tourists from other parts of the states.

In miami it's a lot of Spanish music and hip hop and when somebody likes rock, they are usually out of towners.

If I can get away with it and the clientele is right, I ask the dj to play rock for me. Usually Roxanne or Back in Black is pretty common and gets good tips from old white guys. love the doors. There's been several times i've been tipped a $20. This was when I worked a mixed club and modt of the music was spanish or hiphop. Had a customer that would come in and ask me to do a stage set before doing dances. And he tipped me 20s every time I came for a tip.

There was this one time there was nobody in the club and I asked the dj to play stairway to heaven and I danced slowly and did a couple of spins and transitions and floor work. That can be an awkward song to dance to if not done right and its so long. Anyways when it got to the really good part when it gets fast, I was having so much fun and when I came down for my tip from the one guy at the stage, he handed me a $100 bill and said that it was the most beautiful stage set he'd ever seen. I doubt it was because I only did basic stuff on the pool but This was a huge compliment to me because i was working so hard to dance gracefully. For the most part all I did was a lot of ass clapping and twerking in that club. I think the reason my set flowed so well that day was because I was really feeling th music. Never danced to that song again though. That customer was really cool. I thought he was just a timewaster because I had seen him shut down every girl that came up to him. Thats why I didnt care to play the song. That reminded me to not write off a guy because he says no to everyone else. We ended up chatting at the bar about music and he tipped me nicely with $20's. Wish he wasnt visiting from vegas he wouldve been a great customer.

As for hood spots the make it rain song changes every week I feel like. For a while it was meek mill dreams and nightmares. bricks by migos. commas by future. Now its know yourself by drake. Lol I cant keep up.

But old school hip hop never fails in those clubs.
