Default customers who want to be our boyfriends

I have this customer who comes in now and then to see me. Says he in an unhappy relationship. He always suggests we see each other otc for coffee etc.. because we get along so well. I tell him maybe one day cuz I'm very busy these days. This week he came in and really started going on how he needs to see me otc. I got fed up and told him he will never see me other than at the club, that I am working and he's paying for my time. He then started crying! He also said I killed the mood because I told him that. It freaked me out a bit. What's your experience with custys who think they have a chance at becoming our bfs?

For some reason they don't try much with me. When they do I humiliate them on social media. Puts a stop to it real quick.

I'm very honest and upfront from the beginning. I make it clear to them that I have a busy life outside of my work, and I am not up for grabs. But I still have fun with them, and they enjoy my company anyway which keeps them spending money. They dont care that I cant be their girlfriend bc they have too much fun with me in the club. It takes a lot of savvy to be realistic with these guys but enticing at the same time. Once you learn to master that skill, your work will be much more easy and enjoyable.

He saw me out in town shopping with my husband , ran up to me and told me that he'd been driving down EVERY DAY for two weeks and spending the days driving around hoping to spot me. WOW! That's nuts! Glas you threatened him. Did he bother you again?

I've found that it's best to have a no OTC ever policy from the get go and be kind but adamant. If a customer were to show interest in dating me, I explain that I've had a string of bad relationships that have forced me to sideline my goals and I'm interested in just doing me for a while. I also have a lot of family responsibilities, my rescue animals, school and work, so I don't have the time and energy to devote to a relationship. But, I love seeing them ITC, when I do have the time to catch up with them. That way, I'm not rejecting them but rather using my current situation as an out.

I have had some guys get forceful about it. That's when I drop the "nobody really knows this but... I'm asexual. Yeah, no interest in sex at all. It's just disgusting to me." That usually works and it's not that far from the truth these days.

And if they try the whole "you just haven't been witj the right guy" line of crap... "You mean girl, right..." is a good response.

Be kind until the point comes where they seem to be losing the grip on reality.....then tell them that you are really a prisoner in an unhappy marriage & your husband forces you to strip & takes the money. Crocodile tears + running off= a few more weeks of money out of the "in love" reg.
