Default Another good site like streamates?

So im on streamates And chaturbate. I'm looking for another site with good traffic like streamates. Token sites suck for me I'm barely making money on them and I spend many hours on them. I hear all about streamates and people making good money there....is there another site today that has success for people like streamates does for most? to be a great income? I'd be happy with 500-1000 a month. Cams had charge back so I left. I do not want to go to mfc. No success there either.

    thank you!

It is best to try out all of the camsites you are interested in because your results will be different than for anyone else.

Go to WeCamGirls and have a look at their reviews of cam sites. You can also use the search function here and limit to thread titles and see if threads come up for cam sites you are interested in so you can get a good idea of what other cam girls have experienced.

Generally, the more commission a site gives you, the less overall traffic they have but that's not always true.

The top sites are SM, CB, MFC, AW, LJ and ImLive as they have the most models and traffic however, don't overlook the smaller sites.

So I never moved out before but I have an offer and its at most 415/month utilities and rent. Im counting food and personal expenses so maybe around $600 all together a month. If I made $30 for 30 days I would have $900/month. Would you think that is ok to move out with about 3-4 months of rent already saved up? While looking for a part time job to add to it? While doing camming? (and having a good day would give me days off!) All im afraid of is a website disappearing tommorrow or something... but thats in the next 6 months or so or all of a sudden not being able to make that $30 for days or weeks...which i find it hard. I know i can do that on streamates and I just signed up with Imlive.com and niteflirt its gradually doing better I make between $20-$60 there a day (when I log on). I would start being consistent this week. What do you think? I just need all the advice and feed back...I also may need to buy a bed and a couple of tables to put my tv and stuff on...but that can always wait. lol. I need to add budgeting into my life etc...

having 3-4 months of rent saved up is a smart idea not matter your income, props for thinking ahead on that.

I do want to address something though about your budget: I'm concerned that $600 a month is low even with your really inexpensive living costs. At $600 per month you'd have a budget of $6 per day for food, transportation, discretionary spending, etc. Less than that actually once you factor in taxes due on whatever income you generate. That's really tight. A more sustainable budget places living costs at 25% of overall income, currently your living costs eat up 69% of your total projected pre-tax income.

as far as which sites to join and your concern about a site going under, most of the major sites (streamate, niteflirt, chaturbate, cams, adultwork, myfreecams) are pretty entrenched and I don't see them going anywhere any time soon, but you're right that circumstances change so it's smart to have at least a few sites at your disposal. Another idea is to incorporate clips, there's over in Industry Insight that might be helpful to you

as to the budget though, be realistic and careful. moving out on your own is a wonderful feeling, just make sure you don't get in over your head financially.

When you move out on your own for the first time, it's easy to missjudge what your actual expenses are going to be. When you create a budget, you should also take into account expenses that happen yearly, and try to spread them out over several months.

Say, you buy Christmas and birthday presents every year. If you want to spend $300 this Christmas, you'll need to add $35 to your budget every month between now and December. And that's just one sort of expense.

Take a look at this list of possible budget categories. OK, it's for older people with kids & other obligations, but it's useful (edited to add: they put charities at the top of the list, but never mind that)

You clearly have a good head on your shoulders if you're thinking about saving up a few months' expenses, but you'll need more than you think. Good luck!

I think the 25% rule applies more to America because of the need for a car. I know plenty of people outside of America who spend around 50 % of their income on rent. I do agree that 69% is too high.
30-50% is more reasonable if you live in a city with cheap public transport.

good point, fixed costs can vary widely depending on things like access to affordable transportation (I'm jealous as hell of nations that offer affordable public transit, back in Toronto I had to pay $1700 a year for a metropass).

as cammers though we're in the position of working a job that offers no paid sick leave, no benefits, no pension plan. for that reason I think it's important to develop a budget that includes both long and short term savings; unless one's income is fairly high 50% of income spent on housing doesn't leave much room for that. again level of savings needed will depend heavily on nation of residence, but it is a factor for each of us to some extent.
