Default help with outcall clothes! suggestions?

does everyone wear business casual or *fancy* outfits when they meet clients? should i invest in some shoes and a work bag or is it fine to show up wearing nice jeans and a leather jacket? so far i feel like the clients i've seen don't care that much either way about the outside wardrobe, but in terms of drawing attention from hotel staff or just looking put together.

i dress really boyishly outside of this job so i've done my best getting some key wardrobe pieces, but since i'm still slowly paying off past bills i don't know how much i should worry about getting new outfits.

Just a thought, but how are the people around you dressed? Could you dress to blend in?

Don't look too fancy or done up, that might make the hotel staff suspicious and make it obvious. Look neat and nice but casual. Maybe leggings, boots and a cute sweater? A nice pair of jeans and leather jacket will also look good. If you are going somewhere fancy with the guy, I would show up to the hotel dressed casually and pack a spare fancy outfit to change into when you get into the room.

    Blend in.

I didn't have to wear business casual in my region, but in some areas that might be the "safest bet."

You want to be the person no one gives a second thought to.....

i think i'm just so used to working in incall spas/agencies that this is still taking time to get used to. also i wear a wig so i hope no one notices.

so far it's been a huge mix, it seems to depend on the hotel. i see a lot of business suits, semi casual stuff, then the odd raggedy hipster young people. i can't waitttt to get a credit card and do my own incalls

Like others have said try to try blend in but generally speaking unless you are going somewhere fancy or live in a larger city then I would just wear something casual. I always like to say wear something that is easy on, easy off like sundress and stylish sandals that way you can quickly get down to business and quickly make your exit.

Blend in. And if you feel like wearing a sexy, revealing outfit, wear a Burberry style trench coat on top of it

Yeah, blending in is key. If you're doing a visit in a upscale area, match the fashion trend...maybe a little more low key area, same thing. Your client will appreciate that whether he says so or not.

Back when I did outcalls 3 years ago, I wore sun dresses. People really don't care as much as you may think. I used to be paranoid about the entire industry...but eased up excluding outcall.
