I tend to just fib about where I work when I first meet a guy. When is an appropriate time to tell a guy and how do I go about telling them the truth?

At this point - Im going with never. I can't risk my family finding out. Im single though so its easy to say that![]()
I tell people right away what I do for a living and I look at their reactions. I tend to walk away from men who galmorize it and act like hed be lucky to be with a stripper. I continue to date men who just see it as a job. I tend to be a loner but a bubbly personality so I'm not scared to go for what I want instead of compromising like a lot of girls do.
I think it's better to be honest from the beginning so not to waste each others time. Heck I even told my parents what I do for a living
"Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning how to dance in the rain."
"Everyone wants happiness. Nobody wants pain. But you can't have a rainbow without a little rain.
I'm a camgirl but as soon as I feel im interested in someone I've been talking with I tell them. I feel like they should know from the gate and don't want to waste my time on someone who has a problem with it.

it depends. if you are still "in the closet" and dont want friends and family to know, i would wait it out..you dont need him blabbing. but if you are "out" then i'd wait a few dates til he sees you are a real person, and then bring it up. before things get too serious, but late enough so that its not the first thing he learns about you. just my take.

I've told guys that "I used to dance" and usually watch their reaction from there. I keep my line of work private bc it's really none of anyone's business. If we end up seeing more of one another & it's going somewhere, then i'll say something like "I'm going to start dancing again, with a couple of shifts a week for extra cash" and if he bails then he wasn't worth my time anyway. If he stays ,then coolI still have a watchful eye over past & newer boyfriends that know I'm in this biz bc some have tried using me for money which ended up being a complete wast of their time.

Only if I decide that the guy is a keeper and I can't imagine my life without him. But by that time, I probably can predict how he would react to me stripping.
