Default Product Review: Bliss Lean Machine

At $145 for a "body contouring" device, I can admit that I was skeptical when I spotted the lean machine at Ulta. It was two days before our Halloween fetish party at the Rhino, and I had an appointment with a pair of leather assless chaps. The only problem was, I had hit the champagne a little much that week, which was good for my wallet but not as good for my ass in these chaps. I was on the hunt for a body wrap or anything that could help me remedy the bloating in time for the party. My girlfriend and I eyed the Bliss lean machine, and I was hesitant to risk my hard earned cash on something that could be a complete ripoff. Of course, the little birdie in my ear convinced me that it would be an investment I could use far beyond the fetish party.

This device is AWESOME. A little about my body situation.....My thighs are probably what I would consider my problem area, there is a small amount of visible cellulite on my bum and under the tush as well. The rest of my thighs have some barely visible cellulite which can usually be fixed with a good spray tan and Epsom salt soak. The lean machine took care of the last bit of stubborn cellulite, smoothed the appearance of my skin and tightened it up considerably. I also used the machine on my abs/obliques. Of course, it can't perform miracles but I can definitely tell a difference within 2 sessions.

The machine is basically a handheld vacuum-like device that suctions the skin between two rollers, one smooth and one textured. Before using you apply the bliss fat girl slim firming creme to help the machine glide. It makes sense that it would work, as vigorous massage is one way to help get the toxins on the top layer of fat moving out to be flushed. I really couldn't believe how smooth and tight my body felt after using this thing a few times. It is worth the investment if you are already dedicated to eating right/working out and have a few stubborn areas.

A tip about the fatgirlslim creme that I got from a product review on amazon....to help save money on the creme you can mix it with equal parts body oil before you apply, this will also help the machine glide over the skin and prevent it from getting stuck (which admittedly kind of hurts). Always start on the lowest setting and move the machine bottom to top, bottom to top. I usually put some music on and do one song per thigh and one per ab session. (About 4 minutes each I figure). And yes I also use the machine on my butt. It does not make your butt shrink but lifts and firms. I have tried using drugstore brand cellulite gel from Nivea....I like it but not with the machine. I will sometimes use that after showering, but the fatgirlslim creme really works a lot better.

I wanted to share this with you all as it has helped me feel my best on days when I have indulged a bit more than I should have on salty foods or drinks. The advice on this site has been priceless for my stripping career and I hope this review can help out another girl who may be having similar issues! I have yet to use it on the highest setting, and have been using it for a few months if that tells you how powerful it is

There is a cellulite cream sold at Target store (Ulta too) for Boots, No 7 - it has great ingredients and one called the 'lipo' daisy.
Another good daily 'toxin' reducer is to dry body brush - pre-shower on problem areas. Always use a natural bristle body brush - usually tan colored bristles in a wooden handle and do brush pits and groin areas - and on limbs - brush toward the heart. Once you do this for a couple of days you'll really get use to it - helps banish colds and hangover too!

I do love dry brushing, depending on if I'm working and rocking a fake tan it fudges it up a bit, so I usually try that during off times. Thanks for the creme recommendation, I have been searching for a cheaper alternative, $36 a pop can add up pretty quick if you use it every day.

Thanks for your review! I've seen this machine, I get a Bliss catalog..it has some 'cellulite pants' in there too. I have a dry brush but don't always use it. I have the Dr. Brandt's cellulite cream, it's in a large tube w/metal stud roller. I don't use that always either

Dry brushing is wonderful but you have to be gentle or it can cause spider veins, found this out the hard way and ended up having to get sclerotherapy on my legs to get rid of the little bastards. Now I brush gently and it still works nicely.
