Default Danced when I was younger. Am I too old?

I want to get back into dancing part-time after a 12 year hiatus. I'm 40 years old and I look a lot younger, or so I'm told. I've had a bit of work done - tummy tuck, botox, that sort of thing. I'm a natural redhead and have an exotic look. I danced when I was younger but quit in my late 20's because the business was really getting to me and I had a busy 2-year-old. I've done the traveling thing, worked in Tampa for a while (hard core stuff there) and I just got burned out.

I've been to college and have a day job with flexible hours, working from home. Honestly I kind of miss the excitement of dancing, and I could use some cash on the side.

Am I too old? I thought I'd try a mid-level club about an hour and a half away - I can't dance in town because I was a teacher here for a while.

As far as the body goes, I'm 5'7 140, mostly in my boobs, butt and thighs, I probably need to lose about 10-15 lbs. Tummy is flat from being tucked - I have a scar that I can cover pretty easy with makeup. I've got some good-sized natural boobs (36C), not saggy. Some cellulite - not terrible. Thought I might get a spray tan.

    Thoughts?

Age is just a number -- what really matters is how you look and hustle. It's certainly not *unusual* for dancers to be in their 40s; as with any other age group of dancers, there's a wide spectrum of how well they've taken care of themselves and how good they look though. Just give it a shot and see how it goes. You have the edge of having danced before plus life experience that's more relatable to the average demographic of strip club patrons, so if you toss in looking good for your age, you can turn your exciting adventure into a lucrative one.

Well I can certainly hustle lol. It's just a bit scary going up against the younger girls. Thanks for the encouragement. I'm so glad I found this forum!

All the top earners I know are mid 30's+. Pfffft about the younger generation. The ones on this forum seem smart, but IRL all the ones that I have observed are young, dumb, and thirsty for cum.
In all seriousness as long as you look good you'll be fine. You can attract the youngins with MILF fetishes and the old dudes with money.

Go for it. All my 40 year old dancer friends wiped the floor hustle-wise.

Thanks so much! I think I might give it a few weeks - up the exercise, get a spray tan, buy some heels and such. Wow, never thought I'd be buying a new dance bag and filling it up again (and being financially secure enough to not feel like it's a huge expense). I was one of those "young and dumb" ones back in the day. Had a great time though lol. I do imagine I'd make more money knowing all I do now. Fun fun.

No, the downside of being young is that most of us don't know how to sell our image. If you're older and you already danced before, you'll do well!

I know a MILF in her 40's who won 3rd place in a Hawaiian beauty pageant. She was competing against 18-20 year olds (pretty sure she was the only one over 30's) but because she knows how to carry herself, she won 3rd place.
