A care package of cold hard cash would be nice.

But in all honesty, they all sound pretty decent. You could throw in a couple of garters in there if the girls in the club use them to hold on to money.

Gift vouchers to something universal, or cash.

Emergency sewing kit (like hotels have) for clothing repair - safety pins, double sided tape

Gift card for any food places that deliver to her work.

The one time I felt moved enough to buy a dancer a gift, I simply bought her a gift card. Two weeks prior I asked her what her favorite store was and she told me Sephora, so Sephora it was. It was a win-win. I got to do something a little more personal than handing over more cash and she got something that she wanted and would actually use.

Btw, on a completely unrelated side note, I was floored when I walked into Sephora. Who pays $40+ for a single lipstick or bottle of nail polish? LOL. I had to double how much I originally planned on spending on that gift card just to be sure that it would make a meaningful impact. Wow.

Its a nice idea and I bet she will really appreciate the effort!

But is really risky as to whether she can use the gift or not. I'm super picky and brand loyal. So are the other girls I work with. Lotion/moisturizer/makeup remover is all chosen and trialled based on skin type/sensitivity/allergies/type of products used.

Using the wrong product can cause an allergic reaction, breakout, cause skin to feel or look greasy. Too heavy or too light. Seriously its complicated.

^ I agree. I have seriously sensitive skin, so I am very specific when it comes to lotion, soap, perfume, makeup, etc.

Do cash or a gift card.

Those are all very useful things that a dancer will need, but while a few other ladies have brought up the very valid point of skin sensitivities and brand preference, I would also honestly feel a bit awkward receiving some of these things. Like, portable toilet seat covers, really? A poncho? Floss? Deodorant? As a birthday present from a customer, really? Maybe that's just me though. Cash, a gift card, or something she's mentioned wanting are your best bet IMHO, but if your heart is set on a dancer care package, at least cut out some of the more awkward things.

With personal products as a gift... To me, that's like getting tube socks for your birthday or soap for Christmas. When it comes to me, there are certain products I prefer because of my skin or what products I know work better. These are things I'd prefer to purchase on my own. I don't even have my own husband purchase those items for me. I know your heart is in the right place, but cash, gift card (restraunt, spa, store, ect), or something that relates to a hobby really is the best gift.

What did she get you? Did she get you a care package for your job, or something she picked out herself?

Just to echo what others have said, you really seem like a sweet guy with good intentions, but to be given a gift of random personal care products would be odd, and can send the message that you don't think she is capable of taking care of her basic hygiene needs by herself. (Dental floss, really? Why not tampons?) And unless you know her very, very well, your odds of choosing the right makeup remover/deodorant/whatever are quite slim. For example, my current boyfriend can pick up the right face cream for me at a store, but my ex-husband never could. And we were MARRIED.

Maybe a gift certificate to a place that provides small luxuries, like a wine shop, a nice nail salon, or a massage studio.

edit: or maybe just flowers and chocolate? I know it sounds unoriginal, but I'd love for a customer to bring me a small, interesting bouquet or potted plant and a dairy-free chocolate bar. Red roses and chocolates I can't eat have happened several times, but a more-personalized version of that classic should go over pretty well.

You need to keep in mind that what happens in the club is a great fantasy but it rarely extends to outside. If you're a good customer and she's a smart person she'll buy you a birthday present or other small gifts. This will keep a good customer coming back. For her birthday something a simple as a card with a gift card inside would be more than enough. If you know her really well outside the club then red bottom shoes or LV bags are easy gifts.

That apparently can't be said often enough.

Since she has given you a birthday present it is nice for you to want to reciprocate, it's the polite thing to do. Get her something equivalent (type and value) to what she got you, or something you would by for a friend/office mate. I will presume you have chatted with her at least a couple of times, so if you paid attention you should have some idea something she likes.

I totally get where you're coming from, OP. For years, I knew in my head that she'd rather have $$$, but it just didn't match the feeling that things were a little more personal in the club, and a gift of $$$ just feels so impersonal ... I almost felt like she'd be insulted over such an impersonal gift. I'm well over that but I know it's a hard feeling to shake.

I almost always buy my favorite girls a little something for her birthday or Christmas. I'll also do an extra VIP, which I realize is what she appreciates more; even though that's not a gift, it's at least more $ for time she always spends with me. But, I put a little thought and effort into the little gift. In the weeks leading up to her recent birthday, I casually brought the conversation around to junk food, ascertained she loved chocolates, and then picked up a little box of 6 chocolates from this amazing high-end hand-crafted chocolate shop. Cost-wise it was nothing, and we shared a few and ooh'ed and ahh'ed over them. They're romantic, cheap, show a little thought, and delicious. I think she legit loved them (they're way more amazing than chocolates most people would have tried), but even if she didn't, it met my need to put a little time and effort into someone who has given me a lot of joy. And, I still spent more money with her that day

It's a super cute idea, but honestly I would rather have money. I can buy my own toiletries Also lotion is a no go for most dancers because it makes the stage slippery.

If you're determined to do this, I would maybe put the items in a lovely handbag or something similar...maybe slip a gift card in one of the pockets

most of that i would give away tbh. we already have our favorite brands and scents. exception being travel sized stuff- my bathroom is overflowing with lotions and mouthwash and nail stuff but im always losing my teeny ones and would probably appreciate someone getting me stuff thats easy to carry.

and being naked for a living means most of us would prefer nice coffee to chocolate
