    Default Ontario clubs

I live in the middle of London and Toronto, but I have no interest in dancing in GTA clubs or the Falls because I don't want to have to get a license.

That being said…has anyone danced at Pure Gold Mississauga (yes I know this is GTA) or Solid Gold London?

Solid Gold Burlington would have been mu number one choice based on location…but I worked there as a waitress for a while so everybody there knows my real name.

Anyway, club advice? I've never been to either of them as a customer and they're both about an hour from my house.

Pure Gold seems to have a decent day time crowd because there's a car plant (Ford?) right around the corner. I went as a customer on a weekend night and it was OK. It's not a huge place, so it gets packed. It's got a similar set up to Solid Gold in Burlington. The fees are fairly high on the weekends and I heard that Missisauaga is well known for extras.

I have a girlfriend who works at Solid Gold in London but she doesn't like it. She says it's the best club for her in that city but she doesn't like that chain of clubs.

I also have a friend who dances at the Manor in Guelph and she likes it. No license, 30 dollar fee and it's fairly busy. I think Monday is country night, Tuesday is amateur night, Wed is 2-4-1 dancers and there's other gimmicky things on the weekends.

I just started dancing in Sarnia. It's decent enough. 20 bucks house fee and there's rooms upstairs for 10 bucks. I wrote about my first weekend there in another thread, if you search for "Sarnia", it should come up.

Lots of waitresses become dancers, so unless you're really worried about your privacy/security (which is totally legit), don't let that stop you from dancing at the club you're comfortable me in already. I used to waitress and to be honest I think I would have had a steady flow of customers who wanted to take me for dances, just because I used to be their server.

    Good luck!!

    Thank you for the reply!

I caved yesterday and texted the manager from Solids in Burlington. I asked if he was hiring "shooter girls or dancers," because ideally I would like to switch back and fourth (some of the girls did it when I worked there) so I could have a taxable income as well (and not have to work some crappy daytime desk job) hah.

Anyway, he replied with "yes." Like ??? What does that even mean.

Im going to swing by sometime this week and see what happens. Ugh.

I heard good things about Pure Gold from a girl I used to work with, but I didn't know her super well, so...
I know for a fact Solid Gold Burlington is a clean club, I worked there as a dancer a few nights. I found it slow customer wise though, so I think having a history with the customers there would definitely be a good edge for you, you'll have regulars in two seconds. Are you worried about the staff knowing your full name or the customers knowing your real name? If it's the later, they really only know your first name so I can't imagine it being a huuuuuge deal unless you have a very unique name (that could easily led to you being found on social media). But even then, facebook is linked to your phone contacts now and will suggest friends based on that sooooo....unless you plan on getting a separate work phone, it's fairly easy now for people from the SC to track down dancers they know reasonably well (have her number) on social media. I don't like it, in fact when I realised this I freaked out initially, but with google glasses etc, it's only going to get worse from here, it's the reality of the situation. Now it seems like the best way to keep some semblance of privacy comes from differentiating your "club" look from what you look like IRL so if you run into people they don't immediately recognize you.

I have a super unique name BUT it also has a very "fake name" ring to it so I don't think anyone actually believed that was my name anyway?

    Thank you for the insight!

I'll definitely keep you guys updated on what I decide to do
