Default Do earrings make you look more "put together"?

I don't have my ears pierced, but I am wondering if I should to make more money. I think the customers view me as a little kid (I look young for my age anyway) and this might be a way to counteract that.

I am wondering if earrings, like nails, are one of those things that guys don't know they notice, but subconsciously they do. Maybe I'll look more "done" and make more money? What sort of earrings should I go for?

If you have short hair or an updo, maybe. If you have long hair not really. It's a personal preference.

There's also old-school clip-on earrings, or more modern ear pins if you're not ready or not interested in piercing your ears.

    I personally think they do.

And in some cultures jewelry is a sign of wealth.

Only time I would say no to jewelry is if you are in sports or an avid pole dancer like you do advanced type pole tricks.

    Those are beautiful.

I would definitely get it done if it means better appearance. I wear my hair long and loose so it probably won't make much difference unless I get those hoop ones. Did you ladies ever have issues with earrings getting stuck while hustling and dancing?

Def wear full hoops instead of those ones that just go 3/4 of the way around. I don't think I've ever had earrings get in the way of the pole (broken a few necklaces tho) but I never wore wrist-sizes hoops or super-long dangles. Get high-quality gold or silver, at least until the piercings heal, I tend to flip between good-quality pieces & costume pieces that turn my skin wierd colours (nickel allergy). If you feel a bit of your hair or a thread of your costume get stuck, just be really gentle abt separating them. You can always take the earring out to get it loose if necessary. I've always preferred hoops while dancing, tho sm times I would wear nice costume chandelier/dangling earrings as long as there weren't too many little crevices where my hair could get caught.

I think earrings always help complete whatever look I'm going for. I usually wear sparkly studs because my hair is really long and it's just easier to deal with. When I was younger I would wear hoops, but I had a lot of problems with customers pulling them accidentally, hurting me and I have one ear lobe that has a stretched out hole

The only piercings I wear anymore are my nipples and my navel. I love big hoops but they tend to get caught in my hair and get in the way during lap dances. I have a lot of hair, though. I do make sure my makeup is on point. I wouldn't pierce my ears just for dancing unless you want to anyways. It's not too big a deal.

Anytime I've worn jewelry beyond my belly ring it's been in the way, snagged on shit, broken, or lost. Not worth it IMO if you wear your hair down.
