Default How to screen clients for bodyrubs as an independent?

    Greetings, everyone.

I have recently started doing bodyrubs, and work for a very nice guy who has girls in all parts of the northwestern United States under his guidance. I have all my appointments booked for me, and half the cost of my hotels and studio rent paid for. Everything is essentially handled for me. For the services he provides, he takes half of what I make off set price appointments, I keep all my tips. It's reasonable, but I can't help but wonder what it would be like to be able to take home all that money for myself.

I have seen girls talking here and there on this forum about being indy with bodyrubs, and I am a bit curious about it. The issue for me is being able to screen the clients to make sure I'm getting people who are respectful and okay to provide my services to; guys who aren't creepy and won't give me more than what I bargained for being in this line of work. This is a service that is provided for me by the employer I work for.

How do you ladies "screen" your clients as independents to ensure your safety? Any other safety tips, for working indy or otherwise, also appreciated.

    Thanks!

zorasky, while you wait for providers to give you the real answer, I'll tell you my experience as a long-time FBSM customer in the SF bay area (I believe verification changes based on geography).

Here, by far the most popular verification is through provider references. Most FBSM providers require one reference from another provider, the reference must be an active provider with an ad, and many FBSM providers only take references from other FBSM providers, not from escorts. Typically, as a new client, I send an FBSM provider my reference's name, URL of her ad, email, phone number, and a brief description of how my reference will remember me. edit: to add on, the way providers claim this works is: the "new to me" provider contacts my reference provider with the information I provided, and asks if she's seen me. The reference provider then asks for some proof that the calling provider is really a provider (and not, say, a wife/gf who found this email or phone # in her husband's phone). Once the reference provider is satisfied, she will tell the calling provider: whether she's seen me, and whether she'd see me again. If the answer to both is "yes", I'm verified. Obviously, I have no way to know for sure what information is really exchanged. Since my sessions usually involve off-the-beaten-track activities, I always give my reference provider permission to elaborate on our sessions as much as she'd like, to put the new provider at ease (obviously, I think I get great reviews lol)

Nearly all FBSM providers here will take a work verification, which I think is insane from the client's perspective, but evidently lots and lots of clients use it. The way I understand it, the client sends an email from his actual work email address, along with his name and company's URL. She calls the company's switchboard and asks for him, to verify he actually works there.

Pretty much, every FBSM provider I've ever seen takes the above two methods. In addition, More FBSM providers have been taking P411 lately, which started happening after the demise of myredbook.

Thank you very much for your insight, very helpful! I too, think the work verification thing is so crazy, just too risky. Anyone, especially LE, can make up fake workplace information that can just as easily be "verified". I appreciate your help!
