Chills. This seriously gave me chills.
Every. Single. Second.
Nearly shed a tear at that last line.
What prequels?!

Yay.....
....BTW, not OTT- it is Star Wars after all!

Also this....https://www.youtube.com/watch?featur...&v=OMOVFvcNfvE
SW (originals) are my fave movies- can you tell?
"Well done. Here are the test results: You are a horrible person. I'm serious, that's what it says: 'A horrible person.' We weren't even testing for that."

^^^ he's still going to rake millions in royalties from the movie itself as well as from renewed merchandise sales !!!

^^^ undoubtedly !!!
They already gave him 4 freaking billion for all the rights, i seriously doubt that he would get a cut of future profits on top of that.

according to the Hollywood Reporter ...
(snip)"Disney will own and release future films in the Star Wars series. Lucas apparently has sketched out plans for three more Star Wars films -- he always envisioned making nine -- with Episode Seven set for release in 2015. But Fox owns distribution rights to the original Star Wars, No. 4 in the series, in perpetuity in all media worldwide. And as for the five subsequent movies, Fox has theatrical, nontheatrical and home video rights worldwide through May 2020.(snip)
In regard to George's 'deal' with Fox, see
As to George's specific rights arrangements with Disney ... who cares. Lucas now owns some 37 million shares of Disney stock as a result of the sale of Lucasfilm, currently priced at about $106 per share ( i.e. about 4 billion dollar's worth ). If a seventh Star Wars movie revenues and additional merchandising profits adds just $1 to Disney's share price, that translates into a cool $37 million 'profit' for George Lucas. They already gave him 4 freaking billion for all the rights, i seriously doubt that he would get a cut of future profits on top of that
From mashable.com ...
(snip)That's why the key phrase in the SEC document is "Approximate Date of Commencement of Proposed Sale to the Public: From time to time after this Registration Statement becomes effective."
Just in case anyone missed that on the first page, the phrase "from time to time" appears twice on page two. "The securities are being registered to permit the selling security holder to sell the securities from time to time through ordinary brokerage transactions," it reads.
Translation: Lucas can sell as much or as little [ Disney stock - sic ] as he wants, when he's ready, and when the market is ripe. Given that this man made one of the canniest business decisions of the 20th century, to retain merchandising rights in the deal for the initial Star Wars movie, we expect he'll wait until Disney is flying even higher than it is now — when Episode VII comes out in 2015, perhaps? Cool story bro- my first boyfriend's father went to high school with George Lucas. According to him George was a weird creative guy & no one is terribly surprised he succeeded at creative arts. I think no one ever imagined how lucrative it would be for him...

I LOVE the score.
