Default My improved experience after bringing along a friend to COI

So, I decided to do a follow-up experience to my other thread "Dancers, please help me - my 4th time in strip club and dancers think I'm boring ????".

Anyhow, this time, my experience was literally MUCH, MUCH better especially with a friend.

    Cliff notes:

Brought friend in. Went on Thursday night to a club in COI. I brought in $300 and he brought in $200. All of the money were in one dollar bills. Friend blew all of it tipping. I blew 2/3 of it buying him 2 dances and tipping stages and waitresses. I bought no dances for myself. So walked out with $75.00 still.

Now get this, we spent 4.5 hours there! Our money sure went a long way, LOL. Even though it was Thursday night($100 vip special), we avoided VIP. So taking what I learned from the thread, when girls approached me, I asked them to sit down and have a chat first. 1/2 would agree, the other 1/2 would say she'll come back later (but never did). The ones that do sit down, I immediately tipped them a $10. But it took no more than 60 seconds to realize that some of them couldn't hold a decent conversation. So I had to give her the signal that I wasn't going to buy any dances.

The night ended spectacularly when a ton of costume-dressing waitresses showed up (8 of them) and their job is to clean the stage in a seductive way. It was sort of sad because it was pretty packed and 21 dancers total, and many dancers were just idling standing around. My buddy and I were the only two tipping all the dancers on the stage the most. Later, the waitresses brought these balloons and said ten dollars and they'll ride the balloon on your lap to pop them. It also comes with a free premium drink like vitamin water, starbucks etc.

My buddy and I had wayyy more fun with the waittresses whom we thought were a bit cuter and teased us better. They also didn't give us the feeling like they were just out for money. Unfortunately, my favorite dancer wasn't there that night. An Irish/Mexican mix.

Thanks for the advice everyone. My buddy and I are planning to repeat next time and I told him we're going to do DOUBLE shifts and see how far our money can go. We'll try to avoid the VIP/CR and probably spend more time with the waittresses. I'm told that the costume waitresses are just dancers in training. To me, they seem to hold a better conversation.

I also discovered that I much, much prefer to get lap dances out on the floor, (is it because I like attention?). So one girl, whom was African American said to me "You're going to get me in trouble if I do this" because apparently the club doesn't allow dancers to lap dance on the floor. They have to go to the room and put the money in the machine so the house collects 1/3. Anyhow, she did it for me quickly and I tipped her well.

I didn't realize dancers preferred singles over 20's. This is a good money saving tip indeed! And, as a side benefit, they won't find me boring. Who knew? I've been doing it wrong all of this time!

OP I'm glad you had more fun this time, the next trip doesn't need to be documented here.

    GROAN.
What IS it with guys wanting the waitresses? It's like the stupid forbidden fruit thing. I hate when the waitresses at my club get onstage when it's dead, and they get rained on, yet nobody tipped $5 to the dancers before.
Needless to say, you will not make friends with the dancers if you're busy with the waitresses.

Aurora, I think I know why... it's rubbing me the wrong way that they want to put $500 in singles and see how long they can stay by slowly doling it out. Jesus Christ. We want customers who buy lap dances, not customers who make a game out of how long they can stay in the club tipping every girl $2/stage set.

If you broke down and bought a dance would you have paid in ones?

I guess you would have had to. Classy

    It seems that you've
    > made friends with the waitresses
    > alienated the dancers in the club
    > totally missed the point that Stripperweb is for dancers and guys who like getting lapdances (/with respect to my other work ladies and camgirlies).

Might be time to go post on waitressweb about your experience- and remember, soon those waitresses will graduate to stripper and will be looking to be paid more for their time!

It's definitely a forbidden fruit thing.
Before I was a dancer I sold shots in a strip club and I literally wore jean shorts and a tank top with converse and guys would still ask me for dances while my actual dancer friends would complain about not making money.

Speaking from experience, sometimes (particularly on slow daytime hours) the waitresses are actually hotter and wear better outfits than the dancers. So I can definitely see where he is coming from on that front.
As far as the paying in singles/avoiding VIPs goes, welcome to cheapskateville. Just from personal experience, I've had dancers complain to me (during a lap dance, no less) about customers paying for lap dances in ones. Believe me, you don't want to be that guy.

I think it is partly a forbidden fruit thing, and partly that sometimes the waitresses are the hottest girls in the club. I used to go to a club where the owner allowed this, and on nights when a particular blond waitress was working, I used to get a bunch of dances from her. Besides the fact that she was incredibly hot, she also wouldn't dance for most customers (and some waitresses wouldn't do dances at all), so it added an element of conquest to try to get dances from her and other waitresses.

I know it's not fair to the dancers, because they didn't have to pay a house fee, plus they got paid by the club. But, it adds a fun element to the club experience and I wish more clubs allowed this.

I can understand the frustration from the people on the forum but in the end the OP and his friend found a way to have fun in a club. It may not be the way that most of the rest of us do it, but he's free to find what works for him. I would have never thought about getting $300 in singles. That has to be a large wad of bills. Over time the girls in the club will figure out if it's worth $225 talking to him for 4.5 hours.

One of the bartenders a a local club is a 10+...funny I never thought about her possibly dancing...as I am very happy with the dancers here.
I do think the OP has missed the point of going to the strip club.
Taking only all 1's would not be my idea of a good time, lol!!!

Ugh, I hate it when strippers RUIN the strip club experience by wanting money! It's so mean. I actually had a really similar thing happen last night. My boyfriend and I went to our favorite sushi bar. We had so much fun eating uni and eel sushi, ocean trout sashimi, and he drank a few Orions and I had a glass of plum wine. It was delicious and tons of fun.

But that all changed when our waitress brought us a bill after a few hours. We couldn't figure out what they wanted us to pay for. We said, "We just came here to hang out with you and the sushi chef. We thought you were giving us food because you liked us, not because you were trying to take our money!" I mean what kind of restaurant does that?

Then, on top of charging us for the food and drinks, the waitress expected us to tip her! Even the manager came over and was basically trying to extort us, saying like, "We're sorry but this is a BUSINESS, we provide a service, it's common sense that you have to pay!" We wound up giving them all the money they so greedily demanded but I have never been so offended. I'm never going back there again!

Absolutely he can spend his money however he wants to and whatever is fun for him, but his original post was asking how to get the dancers to not think he was boring, not how to have fun. So handing out 300 singles over 4.5 hours mostly to the waitresses probably wont help solve that original question.

I witnessed an exchange like that between a customer and a female bartender, where he was offering money for her to take off her top. Granted I am not the smartest cookie when it comes to strip clubs, but even I had to "facepalm" that. I do remember thinking how stupid he sounded. Just turn around, look at the stage, there you go, and it won't cost you the $50 you were offering her.

Okay, I want to clarify a couple of things before you guys get all mad.

First, yes, we both brought $200 (my friend) and $300 (me) in singles ($1 bill). But as I mentioned before, for 4.5 hours, starting at 6pm we sat in the front stage, one row behind the pervert row and we literally TIPPED every dancer that went on stage around $5-8 dollars. Each dancer, danced for 2 songs. When the DJ announced a roll-call, for all dancers to go on stage, this was around 9PM, we finally counted that there were 21 dancers in the house that night. We think, we tipped them all. In fact, we KNEW we tipped the most and the house was very packed that Thursday night, and nobody was tipping as much as we were. Every other guy was just tipping $1-3 per guy and only 2-3 guys tipping out of like 120 guys in the room. Not all dancers were equally tipped from the other guys. A lot of guys in the front row, didn't tip a dancer they didn't find attractive. That's pretty sad I think. My friend and I didn't discriminate. We just tipped for the effort as we both agreed.

What ended up happening was a lot of dancers came up to us afterwards for a dance. I bought my friend 2 lap dances for $20 each, while, believe it or NOT, I didn't buy a single lap dance for myself. Around 10 o clock, was when a ton of waitresses in these cute costumes showed up on stage, and then they started bringing balloons. We never tried it, so we thought we try it once. The waitresses went around and sold these balloon lap dances for $10.00. We bought four total because my idiot friend liked two of them. So that's $40.00 plus tips.

So after 4.5 hours, we left at 10:40PM, and blew $425.00 between the both of us. So majority of the money went to stage tipping for literally 4 hours. Only $60 really went to the waitresses balloon lap dances, which we admit, we REALLY enjoyed.

But I have to agree with you guys, you guys are probably right. If we start tipping the waitresses and buying balloon lap dances too much, the dancers will get pissed. But how is it our fault if the house is telling the waitresses to go out and sell these balloon lap dances on the floor? I mean... it's a 1 minute lap dance and the dance is over when she pops that balloon. For all we know, they probably just use their nails to forceably poke the balloon and end that dance. But I admit, I truly felt like the waitresses just wanted to please us and didn't hustle us. It's true, half of them are dancers in training, but both me and my friend are really newbie's to strip clubs, and maybe this was just better for us to ease the transition into a professional strip-clubber-goer?

Oops, i should have separated that statement. What I meant was, thanks for the advice in regards to asking the dancers to sit down and have a chat first. I did that, and as I mentioned, 1/2 of them said they'll be back later (which was a no) and the other 1/2 agreed. When they agreed, I immediately gave them $10 for their time.

The second part was meant to state I had a fun time just stage tipping and dolling my money out slowly and then partying it up with the waitresses, whom apparently, also gave cheap balloon lap dances. But I can see how that could piss off other dancers, so I'll try to be more discreet when getting them.

I guess what my issue with dancers these days are that, they just walk up to you and IMMEDIATELY try to sell you a dance. Like "hey, want a dance?". I mean, car salesman or mattress salesman don't do that. They don't walk up and say "Want to buy that Lexus IS350?" or "Do you want to buy this mattress?". A little bit of customer service and conversation goes a long way, as it establishes a personality of you for me. Isn't a strip club supposed to provide me that "fantasy" or "make-belief" environment that the girls care about me, when they really don't? I don't mind that you really don't care, but maybe, I shouldn't have to easily detect it.

For example, I would want the dancer to first approach me with:

"hey there, how's your day going? You look thirsty, do you want me to help you get a drink? What brings you in today? How was work, what do you do? how was your weekend? What do you do for a living? ...etc.etc." and then perhaps 3 minutes in, you can then ask me about the dance.

I would say 18/20 dancers will always ask "Want a dance?".. but sometimes, there's that 2 dancer that would really sit down and talk a bit.

The reason they are all about money, it's because it's their job. I don't understand why people have a hard time understanding this. They are selling their time and of course dances. Their time is valuable, if you want time with a dancer, just ask for one.

But when you a throwing singles around, you might as well write cheap in sharpe on your forehead.

We understand that it's a business and you're there to make money. But you need to understand that we're there to have a great time. You're best case would be for me to wire transfer 10k a month into your account without ever meeting. My best case is a threesome with you and your twin sister for free. Somewhere in the middle is where we both get what we want. There's a entire section here called Hustle Hut and a thread "Everyone has seen it, why does it happen- THAT girl making bank". That shows that you understand the need to hustle to make money. In the case of Kyleyu it's sitting and talking with him before the upsell.

The advantage of this website is that both sides get to learn from the other. Look past this guy only wanting to spend $225 in singles and see what kind of hustle works. I drop 10 times that much but the same kind of hustle works for me. In my experience the girls making the most money are the ones that are pleasant and flirty with slow upsells. I'm surprised you don't talk more about how to spot the guys willing to spend 3-5k versus $300.

^ There are very few guys on a regular basis willing to drop that money, and if they do it's on multiple dancers. There's a few mega hustlers here that I've heard of pulling $2k out of a single guy, but again, it's rare. It's hard or nearly impossible for dancers to make over $1k in many regions... we just don't have those spenders and when we do it's a one-time thing generally. They're not something that occurs enough to try to learn to pick them out.

Ok, I get the OP's side and obviously I get our side.

That said, if a dancer does not normally sit and chat as part of her hustle, you are not going to make her unless you hand her a $50+ bill, and even then she may only stay 10 minutes. The reason 18/20 leave if you say "Not right now, can we chat a bit first?" is because that phrase is normally uttered by time wasters. Also, you need to take a look at what the standard protocol in your club is. If the whole club is busy, it's going to be a 'wanna dance?' hustle because the girls don't have time to waste. Sorry, don't get butthurt at us, but we are maximizing our profit for time spent there. If you don't like that hustle, switch clubs or go at a different time (I.e., NOT on Thurs-Sat after 9pm).
