Default So many questions, dancing in glasgow scotland help!

I'm going to be completely new to dancing (did pole classes for 2 months cant do that much) but ive been practising in my room and i think my movement is getting better. I keep putting off auditioning everyday as there are so many questions running through my mind! if yous beautiful people could answer one or two or ALL id be very very greatful!

1)3 main clubs in glasgow, What one would you suggest starting out at and would make good ££ ? (diamond dolls, seventh heaven, platinum lace)
2)Heard that some clubs invite u for audition but also offer training....would i train first then audition?
3)In glasgow how much money can you make working say a weeknight, friday and saturday? Would i make 400+ doing 3 nights?
4)How do you stop yourself from possibly losing balance/falling while during a dance?
5)Not much of a drinker, would i be able to say no to men who offer to buy me drinks?

The part im most stressing about is communication! Before, during and after a dance?
If someone could maybe give me a script of what they/the customer says that would be so helpful!!!!

I feel like i would say hi there, introduce myself and then i wouldnt want to just say 'would you like a dance?'
so 6)what would i talk to them about before asking for a dance?
    7) how would i keep the dances going?
how do i tell if a customer is going to spend on me within 5 mins? and if they dont how do i politely move onto the next customer?

I'd be SOOOOOOOO greatful if someone could answer as much of this as possible so that i can put my worries to rest and just go for it!!!!

    2) Eh on the training. They offered that at Bottoms Up in Edinburgh and a more season dancer would walk the newbie through some stage moves and lap dance moves during the first half of the shift, and then the newbie would leave. If you watch some YouTube videos and just pay attention to what's going on around you at the club, you can just jump right in and start making money. The vast majority of dancers don't have any training -- I assure you it's not that complicated to pick up.

    4) Walk carefully. Practice walking around in the shoes at home and don't make any abrupt movements and you'll be fine.

    5) Yeah, just know that some customers are looking for a drinking buddy. If you can, fake drinks or carrying a beverage around with you when you approach customers is a good prevention.

6 - Read Hustle Hut. There are pages upon pages of information on communication before, during and after a dance, including scripts. Run a search, browse, just use what's already on here because there's a lot of good stuff. You can't always tell within 5 minutes if a customer isn't in to you, but the longer you dancer the better you'll get at reading them.

#4 Move slow in the shoes. It's hard to convey the kind of intimacy to entrance a customer when you're bouncing round all over. Use the walls, pole, ceiling bars if there are any(sm clubs have these bars anchored into the walls or ceiling just for this purpose), chair, whatever's available to help you balance. Practise makes perfect, so if you have shoes already, practise in them at home to break them in & acquire your 'sea legs' b4 you hit the club.

#5 Different clubs have different drink setups. I've worked at clubs that had virgin drink options for dancers, & clubs that didn't -- at one place it didn't help bc sm dumbass dancer blabbed to club regulars that Drinks X, Y & Z were fake cocktails. I also don't drink ITC, or if I'm in a club that reeeeeeaaaallly 'needs' you to have a drink in your hand, I'd get an amaretto sour w/ no ice & make it last all shift.

Other ways around drinking -- I have straight-up told customers & even mgrs that I can't have alcohol bc I'm diabetic. Hard to argue w/ that one. I have yet to encounter a diabetic-seizure fetish, & mgrs sure as hell don't want to deal w/ the risk of you crashing in order to push drinks.

Make an arrangement w/ the bartenders & waitstaff to bring you a 'code-named' drink that's non-alcoholic. You can agree on a unique name for it, or just ask for 'your usual' when the waitress comes to take your drink order. Let the cost difference go to the waitress & bartender as a tip for helping you out this way.

If you don't think you can get away w/ a virgin drink, let him order shots. Wait til he goes 'bottoms up' & then toss the liquid over your shoulder, or in the ice bucket (champagne) or in a potted plant if there's one next to you. This one requires a bit of skill, & the drunker he is already, the better.

I've also used my stage show as an excuse. Mine is pretty acrobatic & I would make a point of telling the customer I'm clumsy enough as it is w/o drinking. I don't need any help falling off the pole, I do that just fine all by myself

6-8 ) The biggest way you're going to learn is thru trial&error. Different customers want different things & it will take time to learn how to read them, & how to weed out the timewasters. Make Hustle Hut your Bible, starting w/ the stickies & working your way thru. You can even start from the very back of the thread, bc there is a lot of good stuff buried deep from 10+yrs ago.

I did this, for months of reading- opened a word document and copy pasted what I wanted under relevant headings. One of the StripperPrograms literally did the same thing (the text is verbatim from forum to program lol) and sells it online so if you feel like cutting out the middle man you can pay for it and have it served up preprepared but it is the same info, usually with links to more info.
