    Default What's expected in Seattle?

Is it even worth it to go to Seattle?

Aside from extras and "high miles" dances...the other crap thing about Seattle is it's full of starving hot 18 year old Barbie doll looking girls. I checked out two downtown clubs when I went there & it made me feel ugly & old as a woman, not even to mention as a dancer. So the hard truth about Seattle is if you are young and tight you can carve out a niche, but other than that....it's not for the faint of heart or any girl nearing stripper retirement...

Skip Seattle and dance in Portland, even if you have to do the 3.5 hour commute on weekends or something. I worked for years in Portland and customers came down from Seattle all the time complaining about how shitty the clubs are there. Dancers have to get licensed, it's super extras-heavy, and the clubs are expensive so the guys hate them. Portland, by contrast, is so well known for its fun strip clubs that people come from all over to check them out--and many don't charge much in the way of fees. I knew several dancers who lived in Washington and commuted to PDX for shifts.

^This is exactly what I heard from another dancer who worked in both cities (Seattle being too expensive and extras heavy to work, commuting to Portland instead).
