I've seen a couple posts about getting started in porn on here, but literally this entire forum is about how to be a stripper. Browse through the Newbie Board, Stripping General, and Hustle Hut -- especially the threads stickied at the top of those sections. Check out Club Chat and Club Reviews to learn about clubs near you. Run searches if you have questions that haven't been answered there, but I can almost guarantee that anything you ask has been asked before. No one is going to hold you hand in this industry -- reading through this website alone will put you way ahead of most ladies who get started as a dancer, so take advantage of that but don't expect us to spoon feed you all the information on how it works and what to do when it's so easy to find.

Start reading the first couple pages of each of the Industry-Specific forums, then look at a few random, deeper pages. There is a lot of very good current info, but also tons of golden info buried in threads from 5-10yrs back.
The search bar is your friend, even tho sm times you might have to try your search a few times w/ different wording to find what you're looking for -- I still have to do that sm times when I want to look up a particular thread from a yr or more ago. & even when the search function seems a bit wonky, you'll very likely stumble on info re: questions you hadn't even thought of.

I would definitely reccomend stripping over porn. Do your research on stripping, and what clubs in your area are best to work at. Check out the stripping and newbie forum here, and also club reviews. If you have any specific questions, just ask. Just a tip, the two best areas of the sex industry to work in now are camming and escorting. Porn is dying, and stripping gets tough especially in the colder months.
Totally agree the stripping and porn industry is not as lucrative in most areas as it used to be and lots of dancers and porn actresses have side jobs or cam or escort on the side.
But for starting out stripping is the easiest way to get your feet wet in the adult entertainment industry.
“Cook for him like a housewife, fuck him good like a nympho….pay the rent and the car note, he invests in me like crypto”
As others have said, porn is definitely not where the money is these days (unless you're looking to work as a feature dancer after doing porn, but even then, I'd reconsider). There are upsides and downsides to each part of the sex industry, but porn is literally the last option I would choose.
Please, run some searches before posting any more threads.
