Default Clubs dead because of the mayweather fight?

My club is not airing the fight and we cut all liquor off at 2 tonight. A lot of guys said they were going to go elsewhere to watch. I wonder if i should bother going? It was suppose to be my last night then i was going to rest a day and leave. Do you all thong anyone will be in. Now these are all golfers in town.

Hmmm good point. Dudes and their sports! The whole building could be on fire while they're in it and they'd be zoned out on sports.

Im getting ready to head to the club now but if majority of men are somewhere tuned into sports I may as well wait till tomorrow. What time is the fight?

I would work. You never know who is going to be there plus not everyone likes or cares about boxing. I hope my club isn't slow tonight. Don't think it will be. What time does the boxing event come on EST?

thing is it comes on at 11 and sat are the night we stop serving anything at 2. Now if it were friday we are open til 6 and still serve beer and wine after 2 not tonight. I thought maybe early but I didn't get home til 6:30 ;last night and I haven't worked this much in a year so my body is like ugh. A lot of the groups did say they were going to hooters to watch it.

Plus we've been having 130-150 girls. Most are idiots and don't even know about the fight. It'll be brutal with that many girls if were dead.

Sucks for hooters broads. Their sections will be filled with men zoned out on the fight and holding up their tables. Hopefully they get tipped well regardless. And I thought hooter closed at 11 or midnight. Anyhow, The fight is 11pm EST.

I live in Vegas and I can only imagine that chaos out on the strip right now. I'm staying home all day to avoid traffic. I can do my work tomorrow

I forgot it means it will be on at 8 so maybe we'll get some people. I hope it's not all young fucks. My mom is usually right and said they'll probably just stay were they are and drink.

Ah. I'm doing my research. it's costing in upwards 5000 for places to air it. So I'm gong to just go.

I am not and would not go in. It's just like the superbowl. If guys aren't staying home and drinking for free and eating wings, then they are at a bar that is showing the fight and has much cheaper drinks than a strip club and 25 cent wing specials.

We were hoping it would be busy because theres a bar next door, but that bar isn't even showing the fight. So I have a feeling it will be really slow tonight.

My club isn't airing either, I am still gonna go in. Last Superbowl, I made 1k and it was dead, there are lots of guys still willing to spend money on what counts - beautiful ladies

Wow That is way too many girls!! I have a friend in Vegas now I wonder how she says it willl be. I wouldn't be surprised if it ain't all that.

I say just go. Making something is better than nothing. Plus if u dont go u could miss out.

I'm at work now and its slow but its only 8.

My club is not airing the fight either. It would cost them 12 grand to show it and they are getting lots of call too.

Superbowl was good in AZ. But may not have been worth it if you have to pay for flight and outrageous prices for hotels per night (400-1000 a night)

I'm in a golf season area. We had almost 1000 guys through the door last night and i'm driving home monday so I'm going to go and hope for the best and that we don't have 150 girls.

IDK where you ladies work, but I couldn't even walk into a club that had 130-150 girls. You have 100+ lockers in there? Is it the size of a stadium? I can not even fathom that many dancers in one building. I did a wing bowl thing one year at a rather large club with 62 dancers and I felt overwhelmed. I hate feeling crowded and the whole "excuse me, excuse me" just to get by a door, the toilet, a chair, etc. I could never. I rather be trapped in an elevator.

I hear ya..I think it's a big place though? Idk, I'm claustrophobic as well..I got trapped in a building hallway & nearly hyperventilated
There's a bar near me, they're both showing the fight & having a band for only $5.00 cover.

$5 cover...that's really a good price! wow. Clubs near bars like that might get hit after the fight...with a bunch of drunk broke young assholes. I still wouldn't chance it. It's hard to make money in my area when any significant type of big sports thing is on TV. There's just too many bars offering $1 drafts and 25 cent wings. No one wants to pay a $20 cover and $8 a drink just to see tits.

Yea. I went there NYE, they had no cover & a band! They only played for an hr, but it was cool.
