Is Craigslist fair game too? I have so much antique furniture I found on there! Otherwise, my most recent purchase from a brick and mortar thrift store is a brass plant stand. I've wanted one as a bedside table FOREVER. I'm too lazy to take a picture but it's similar to this one:

Last year I picked up a glass topped outdoor table for $10. A little rust remover ; a little elbow grease with steel wool and sandpaper ; a coat of primer and two coats of spray acrylic and I have a brand new outdoor table. Well , almost new.
Earlier I had found a $200 quilt for $15 and a pair of Ed Hardy winter boots in my fiancé's size for $10.
I LOVE yard sales and flea markets.

Scored a half dozen nice ties for fifty cents each, and a fairly recent desktop PC for five bucks. This computer was pretty seriously screwed up and probably had about fifty different viruses on it. But after a Windows reinstallation, it's just fine.

I got a new digital multimeter for $35, which was at the time a $200 unit. I got a student trumpet for $35 which I sold years later for $150. I got a record player's tone arm for $50 which I sold years later for $700. And other music instruments and kitchen appliances too.
I loved going to strip clubs; I actually made some friends there. Now things are different for the clubs and for me. As a result I am not as happy.
Customers are not entitled to grope, disrespect, or rob strippers. This is their job, not their hobby, and they all need income. Clubs are not just some erotic show for guys to view while drinking.
