    Default Beauty Gadgets

We talk about creams, cosmetics, shampoo/conditioner, and similar products all the time, but which beauty gadgets are you ladies in love with or dying to try?

    Stuff I want to try:

    • Clarisonic PLUS, mostly for body brush but also for weekly facials.
    • Foreo LUNA, for daily facial cleansing.
    • Tanda Zap
    • NuFace Trinity with normal, red light, and ELE attachments.
    • Hermippe Wrinkle Care Massager
    • Hitachi Hada Crie N2000
    • Hitachi Lip Crie NR500
    • Jellen Portable High Frequency
    • Dermaroller, various sizes and lengths for different areas and frequency
    • CandyLipz

I haven't decided on which microdermabrasion gadget I want to try yet!

If you work in a restaraunt, you wear skid resistant shoes and a uniform.
If you work in a strip club, you wear 7" stilettos and lycra g-strings.

    I had similar item http://www.amazon.com/Darsonval-High.../dp/B0077CNO1G
    http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...=A1RY29VDC6C0Y
It was fun to use it. If you need to heal something quick really helps, also i used to brush my hair and after i slept like a baby. I should buy it again! Also i used it for vagina and it made sex so much better! Hm that device a lil bit scary, makes noices.
I want to have a sauna, i crave it!after i feel like all fat melted out of my body and toxins too.

I used a dermaroller. It was painfull!and i got some rush after using it. That roller just makes little scars on your skin, makes like your skin get thicker because of causing little scars. Personaly, i donot recomend that questinable product! I feel like damaging skin that way may cause a cancer. You just damage skin , your body defense may do something not good!

You used high frequency on your vagina?! Why/How on earth?

I got a Nuface a few years ago, but it stopped working after a few weeks. I followed the battery reset instructions but it was dead. (I had ordered it from the US to save money so I couldn't be bothered going through the process of returning it at further cost).
I like the idea of these devices though, I'm mid thirties now and not ready for any invasive facial work but would like some gentle maintenance.

I'm thinking of trying facial cosmetic acupuncture soon, I've heard it gives great results.

Ooh just looked at Clarisonic Plus, I would consider that for the body brush alone. I want to body brush regularly but I get lazy, that would make it much more do-able.

I have a lustre blue light acne therapy device I use when I have massive painful cysts that won't go away. It is a hand held device with 3 sticky pads you put on problem areas and it emits blue light to kill bacteria. It works in that cysts go down a few days later. Doesn't do much for mild pimples somehow tho!

    I paid £300 it's now about £100.

I'm just confused about how it's used and what exactly it's supposed to do to improve sex. I tried looking up info, but all I can find is info about electro-sex!

Please do! I saw Glo the other day and was intrigued yet skeptical.

I still have the Clarisonic I bought a couple of years ago and haven't used it much... I didn't notice much of a difference and I didn't like having to add another step to my skincare regimen, it already takes up enough of my time as it is lol

I am curious about the Glo as well, I see it everytime I go to Sephora!

Nooooooooooooo! Aww man, this device looks so magical.

Actually, I'm having the same experience with dermarolling (at home). I was seeing amazing results for a long time, but these past two months it's like it's stopped making any sort of difference. Granted, I'm not getting it professionally done so maybe it's user error

^Just to clarify, the device itself broke. It wouldn't charge and just died completely. So I didn't get to use it for long enough to see results, I would probably buy another one as long as I could have it exchanged easily if there were any problems.

Not necessarily..I've found stuff is like that. I want to get into a higher 'grade' of anti aging product b/c of this^. Downside is, you usually have to con$ult w/a Dr.

I used the glo a few years ago and barely saw results. I see better results with whitening tooth paste...
The clarisonic made me break out.
The derma roller didn't do much and hurt really bad...

I wanna try that foreo thing now

Did you buy it through the company or a third party like Amazon? I get where you're coming from about not wanting the hassle if it was third party, but I'd really like to know how the company tried handling the issue if you bought directly from them.

I'm glad to see someone mention the Yes To brand, Snuffle. As I run out of my current products (Mary Kay Timewise, which has been great since it was gifted to me,) I plan to replace it with Yes To Blueberries as a stop gap until I can make my own lotions and potions. It's nice to see a brand chock full of ingredients you can understand and very few that you don't.

But this thread is to pay homage to our overlooked tools and gadgets. Which ones do you love, hate, or want to try?

A few more to add to the list:

Talika Cream Booster - A similar device to the Hermippe that costs more, but it also works with phototherapy and confirmed (versus Hermippe's implied) ionotherapy.
Jose Eber Therapy RX Moisture Boosting Tool - Looks like a flat iron, but no heat! Instead, it uses vibration and infrared to push hair oils/treatments/conditioners into the hair shaft rather than leaving them on top of the cuticle. (His line of tools also includes two infrared blow dryers to supposedly dry in half the time with much lower heat.)
PaloVia Skin Renewing Laser - FDA approved home IPL for fine lines and wrinkles. What really impresses me is that this isn't from a new company trying to get in on the at-home market; it's actually created by Palomar, the same company that makes your doctor's IPL machines! Check out the before and after pics!
Braun Silk-Epil 7 SkinSpa - This thing can supposedly remove hair as tiny as 0.5mm and epilation lasts for weeks like waxing. Not sure if I want to try it or not because I want electrolysis, but for you ladies that like epilators.

I'm now debating between the Clarisonic PLUS or Smart Profile since looking at the website for their updated line. All the brushes (including the foot attachments!) can be used with the Smart even though only a couple of heads are designed for it. I'm not sure being able to use the foot attachments is really worth an extra $80, but I can't deny the convenience of having it all in one device when my counters/drawers are already gonna be super crowded. I'm also constantly battling it out in my mind between a Philips Sonicare brush or the Foreo Issa Mini. Both are a pretty big investment compared to a regular toothbrush.

Don't forget your manual items too, ladies! I currently swear by my Tangle Teezer and cheap nylon exfoliating towel. I used to love dry brushing and massaging so, ASAP, I'm repurchasing a brush, massager, and natural fiber towels. (I love www.naturalbathandbodyshop.com for their ethical business practices.)

It wasn't directly from Nuface, I can't remember where it was from but it was a third party beauty site.

If I recall, I had to pay extra customs tax on delivery of my item, which is why I felt it wasn't worth any more hassle!

The only beauty gadget I ever bought was the Clarisonic Mia and it was such a waste of money! So irritating, so useless.
