Default Bangs to hide Frown lines- For VERY curly hair.

Soooo, I never went ahead with the botox/LED etc for my frown lines and now I'm considering a fringe instead.

I have naturally very curly hair, type 3a/b (http://www.naturallycurly.com/pages/hairtypes/type3). I have a longer/thinner face with a high forehead. Small nose and small, plump shapely lips. My cheekbones aren't very prominent.

Hit me with it ladies! I'm travelling for a week but I might PM some face shots to long standing members who reply for further info once I'm back.

I found this page very helpful http://beautyeditor.ca/2014/05/30/be...-for-long-face for the general rules for working with my face shape where/how to cut bangs and what lengths suit and why.

Thankyou my fashion conscious ladies of the net.

Anybody? I'm feeling a loss of confidence when I look at my lines.... I had a guy guess my age as 3 years older than I am, in his defence he said I also have the body of a 20year old but c'mon >(

I personally haven't seen bangs look good with that hair type. I would suggest either stick with the botox or get your hair professionally straightened (Brazilian blowout?) And cut if you want bangs

You don't have to heavily cover your ENTIRE forehead... as long as the deepest parts of the lines (along the center) are covered... it's highly unlikely anyone will notice them.

IMO with curly hair... longish side-swept bangs are the only ones that REALLY look good.
And since you can sort of blow dry them a LITTLE straight or pin them to dry them in position and leave some curl to them, they're much less maintenance than a heavy straight bang.

Are you asking whether or not to get bangs, or what kind of bangs you should get?

My sister has the same curl pattern as you. She said that when she had bangs, they only worked because she straightened all of her hair every day. They were the longer, sideswept kind. They did look cute and I imagine they'd look nice on you as well. How do you style your hair now?

What about trying clip-in bangs first?
