Duh How to look more exotic and less goth?

Hi, I know I have seen a post like this from awhile ago but can't search it out. I've decided that I'm tired of my blonde barbie-ish look and have figured that it actually doesn't really match my personality all that well...which confuses and puts off some customers. I'm starting to realize that I may be able to capitalize more on having a more exotic look. I have waist length black hair, pale blue eyes that are really upturned, dark eyebrows, light olive skin, with an irish and egyptian heritage so I look pretty, I dunno, striking I guess. I went for the blonde barbie thing because I fear that I can look a little intimidating. I'm also petite, like 95 lbs with natural 30E breasts, with a small bubble butt- with real big booty to speak of.

Anyways the last time I tried to do exotic at another club I totally failed. Custies either told me I looked like a witch, like a young Cher, or goth....I was wearing a lot of black. Any ideas on a kind of "look" that would be more appropriate? I'm guessing black isn't it. Leopard print? Gold/bronze outfits? Maybe my long black hair and features is exotic enough? I dunno!! Any input is very welcome and thanks in advance!

Pics would help. Also, try red. (Clothes, not hair.)

Thanks I'll try and post a pic! I was thinking about red actually...
Oh and this is not meant to be any offense to ladies who do the goth "look"...some of the most attractive dancers I have seen do the whole goth thing....its just not me.

I have worked with long, black hair and tanning dark helped me to look less washed out/"witchy". Curling my hair, instead of wearing it dead straight, also made me look more exotic and softer or younger too.

It depends on your skin tone, but brunettes usually look great in shades of red and purple IMO.

hmmm... maybe it has to do with your makeup?

I have learned through trial and error that I simply cannot put any eyeliner/eyeshadow on the bottom half of my eye. It just looks like way too much on me, even if I do it subtly or with neutral colors. I have to do my eyeliner on the top only, cat eye style, and I use the scotch tape trick to get my eyeshadow to end in a crisp line right where my winged eyeliner ends.

I also agree that curling your hair or wearing it in a high ponytail or some interesting braids might help, instead of wearing it straight down.

Maybe wearing white or pink. Less heavy makeup, rhinestone jewelry. Focus on looking more glamorous.

Not sure how similar you coloring is to her but Haifa Wehbe has a beautiful exotic look and there's tons of makeup tutorials to get her look. I love google images for stuff like this. You can see girls with similar looks/color/shape as you and see what does and does not flatter.

Try some jewel-toned clothing and outfits in brighter hues to contrast with your dark hair. I think you can get away without tanning as long as you choose flattering colors. I also think that a pop of rhinestone jewelry might instantly take your look from "witchy" to "exotic / high-class."

Do you know of a good place to buy something like this? I used to wear a necklace to work, but the rhinestone stuff would always break...

I thought about getting something like this - http://www.yandy.com/Rhinestone-Studded-Choker.php - but the jewels look very fake and it's a bit gaudy for my tastes.

^ I made something really similar, it was super easy. I had a stretchy rhinestone cuff, it broke like they all do, so I cut it in half, removed the elastic threads (for even rhinestone spacing) and sewed it onto a sturdy black ribbon. Ta-da! Versatile choker, cuff, or anklet with a pretty little bow.

I was inspired by 18th century chokers like this:

Ummm...you're an adorable, super-talented dork. Holy shit, girl. It's not my style, personally, but...wow! I can see how that'd look awesome on you, especially with your blonde hair.

I was looking into getting something more along the lines of this silly little thing: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00C3LJJ2O/...KDS1PYSA&psc=1

Aww, thanks! I should clarify that the actual one I made is far less baroque than that picture. To get back on topic though, Burlington Coat Factory has awesome strippery rhinestone jewelry for super cheap. Like $4.99 cheap.
