    Default Cheetah Atlanta

Hello! I am thinking of trying to work at the Cheetah in Atlanta, however I am completely new to this industry and I have SO many questions. And most of the general advice I have gotten about stripping didn't really apply to the Cheetah so I am looking for some info on this specific club and am hoping that perhaps some of the lovely ladies who currently work there or have worked there in the recent past could help me out. Honestly, I would even be willing to hire someone to mentor me in person if I knew anyone who worked there. Here are my many questions, and if anyone could help me to answer any of them I would be very grateful!

    1) Audition - So I called and they connected me to a pre-recorded audition hotline, but this didn't answer all of my questions about auditioning. With regards to my audition outfit, they said to wear panties with a tie or snap and 4"+ heels but no other info. I want to stand out with my audition outfit and I definitely don't want to look cheap since this is the "classy" club. But I also have a tendency to overdress and I want to make sure that what I'm wearing isn't to hard to take off. I was thinking of wearing a corset like this one that I already have cause I think it would be really cute and just bra and panties doesn't really seem like enough but corsets aren't the easiest things to get in and out of. My second question about auditioning is that they said that you had to dance for the duration of I think either one or two songs. However I know Cheetah girls don't really dance, not to mention I don't really have any dancing skills to speak of, I am relying solely on my looks here. Finally, should I be prepared to answer any questions or do all they really care about is whether or not you have the right look?

    2) Work permit - I know the Cheetah requires a work permit, however I don't want to have to pay for one until I get the job, because this is the only club in Atlanta that I'd really want to work at. Would they hire me without one and then allow me to get one before starting the job? Also, I do not even know how to go about obtaining such a permit.

    3) Finally, I just want to know what to expect in general, and what I'll be expected to do. Does anyone have any tips? Is there anything that you wish you knew before starting this job?

    Thanks so much everybody!

    1. I haven't worked there but when you audition DONT wear that corset. From what I understood of the recording, you're supposed to wear something like a bikini. Whatever bottoms you wear you can't step out of them so they either need to untie or snap off.

    2. If you want a permit you have to get hired first and they'll tell you everything you need to know to go further. I'm pretty sure you'll have to have the permit before they'll actually let you work because it puts the club at jeopardy.

    3. There's a girl on here that currently works there and when I asked for info she said go in glammed up and smile during your audition. It'll be less than a minute. That's all I know from my own questions about the club. Good luck!!

Didn't look at the corset link -- unless you can just unsnap/unhook that thing from the front to get it on & off, leave it at home. If mgmt is specifically saying your knickers need to have ties or snaps, there is probably a reason for it. Maybe a minidress or tunic-style top w/ a plungy neckline would work, layered over your bikini or whatever two-piece thing you've got. I have rocked that kind of 'layered' look in upper-scale clubs, then dropped it to do my pole tricks in bikini or less since excess fabric + pole tricks often =

That aside -- go to the club as a customer & plan to stay for at least an hr or two to get a feel for the club. Observing this way will tell you so much that you would have missed if you just went in 'cold' for the audition -- club layout, dress requirements, what mgmt will or won't let 'slip' re: dress requirements (or anything else for that matter). You can also ask abt things like price setups & tipout policies, & see the support staff in action as well -- bar staff, hosts, bouncers, etc.

    Hey!

I'm new around here but i'm sure I can help you. I danced at the Cheetah all of 2013-2014. I don't dance there anymore because I hated the schedule. 3 days/ week and its always the same days, unless you get someone to cover your shift. I am a black girl, with booty and I did extremely well there.( Not sure if it applies to you, but I thought I would mention it.)

Lemme help you out a little. NO to the corset. You are going to get naked anyway, and if you come right out with that on, they are going to think you are fat or are trying to hide something. I bought a 2-pice bikini by BodyZone to audition in. String tie top, string tie bottoms. Got it from a dancer store called 'Looks of Atlanta'. Its' next door to another strip club.lol

Whether you can actually dance dsn't matter. We have this thing called "The Cheetah Bop" that all the girls kind of do because there are no poles, no floor dancing( standing up only), so that dsn't leave much room for variety. You will be fine in that regard. SMILE! I cannot stress this enough. You will be put on the main stage with all the other dancers(they want to see how you look on stage with other girls). Please look confident. I did all the wrong things during my audition and still got hired because I did them with a big ass grin on my face! ( I got on the stage floor, with no bottoms on, did a bust-it-open move, and Holly(hm) quickly told me to get up!)

As far as a permit goes, you will only get it after you have been hired. Cost is still $370 i'm almost sure and it can be obtained from the City of Atlanta Precint. Everyone in Atlanta has to go here to get their permits,(bartenders, waitresses, dancers) so expect a little bit of waiting, but not too much. (This will all be covered in the big ass hiring packet they give you after they hire you.) Once you get the permit, you bring it back to the club for them to keep it on file to verify your age and identity. (Wish we could keep them, my pic was soooo cute!) It is valid for 1 year from date of obtaining.

The Cheetah is great during convention season. In the dressing room, the housemoms have a dry erase board of every event in town for each month. You will want to take notice of this( you have to anyway, working 3 days/week) Mondays are the slowest weekday, so they always put the new girls on this day, Your other 2 days are chosen by you. BE SELECTIVE IN HOW YOU CHOOSE YOUR DAYS! I say this because you are comitting to those exact 3 days for an entire year. Dsn't sound like alot, but trust me, if Valentines Day, NYE, Beyonce concert or birthday falls on this day, you are still obligated to work, again, unless you switch shifts or pay someone else to work for you. Brings me to my next point. Take off as far in advance as possible. Cheetah has a rule, 60 girls/night and only 6 girls can take off "in the book". This is a free and clear vacation without having to do anything else. I have gotten stuck wrking all of the above mentioned holidays(I $$$$$$$ on ALL of them, but that's besides the point if you really want that day off) (I did end up finding a cover for the Bey concert, thank GOD!)
HAVE FUN! All in all, it was a great experience for me! It was also my first club and they say they like first timers! If you are are 21 or older, you can drink! They do breathalyze though. If you don't pass , you muct either catch a ride with another dancer, cab, or uber. You will NOT be able to drive home or have a customer who was previously in the club take you home.
We also don't have house fees, just tipout and that is very low compared to ALL the other clubs in ATL.
Lemme know if wanna know anything else! Good luck future Cheetah Girl!

Wow thank you sooooooo much this is extremely helpful! The schedule thing is definitely something I hadn't thought of but will! One question I had with regards to that is it sounds like it is possible to get vacation days if you book far in advance? Or is this not the case? And if so what is the limit on these like? Thanks!

Yes, you are absolutely right! As long as the date you want off isn't already booked (6 girls off already) you can have it. Also, there are no limits on dates. I used to write them a down to have them ready to mark me as off. They do this right in front of you.Last year I took the entire month of June off to travel. (No more than 30 days @ a time or they make you re-audition)I learned this from the vets there, they ALWAYS know when it's going to be super slow and take off for July in February!

Thanks this information is invaluable!!! I thought of a couple of other questions as well. When you audition do you give your stage name or your legal name? Also would having a boyfriend/fiance be frowned upon? I mean obviously don't talk about that with customers but do those hiring you care at all? Thanks!

Have you read any of the threads specifically addressing auditions? These questions are all addressed there. :

You WILL have to give your real name on your paperwork. A strip club is a legit business (at least most of them are) & has hiring paperwork just like anywhere else. A lot of new girls get paranoid abt this (OMG! I'm hot & brand new & they might try to stalk me!) but there is no reason to. Guess what: beyond hiring, they don't give two liquid shits what your real name or address is. There is high turnover in this job & mgmt generally has better things to do than stalk dancers. After getting hired, you will likely just go by your stage name.

The SO question: many clubs have a 'No SOs in the club while you are working' policy. The club won't care as long as he stays out. If you do a little research around these boards you will find that not all strippers are single.

I worked here beginning of 2015 and unless you are a coke hoe and want to engage in prostitution I suggest you go to another club. Management is super sketchy and ended up paying a ton in fees and tip outs.

Anyone know of any clubs that are not shady/super sketchy/dangerous/have to suck dicks for cash near ATL that are decent money and you don't need a permit?

Oasis is good and no permit. But I would try cheetah first though. A couple grand on a good night before tip out is probably better because cheetah is more transient and easier money. Oasis is more regulars so to get that good night you've put more energy into it. Both are steady and this is busy season for Atlanta

Oasis is really sketchy and the dancers are rough. These people are lying so much and I don't know why unless they are management, there is no way even on a weekend you are walking away with 2K from Cheetah, they just want you to spend money on the ATL license. I'd go to Magic City if you have a great body and bypass all these other clubs

You can definitely walk away with a couple of grand at the cheetah due to the clientele and the VIP prices. This does not happen every weekend, but a good hustler or a girl with a good client can make it happen. This is because the cheetah attracts men that have that kind of money to spend on the right girl in the right circumstances. Average at the cheetah is usually around 600-1000 for a good night, an okay night 500, and a bad night 300ish.

    Hello,

Do you have any advice for auditions? I plan audition in late August/September since I know business is slower in the summer. Plus I have a lot things going on in the summer like surgery, buying furniture for my apartment, getting a car, dental work ect.

Summer is bad. Cheetah prefers small women with small to no tattoos. White and Hispanic girls get hired easier with less attention on the body/tats. Show up to audition in flattering bikini and glammed up, bottoms should untie because you cannot step out of them. They also have it where you can send pictures in instead of driving there.
