    Default Your Greatest Club Memories

What are your favorite memories working at the club? I wanted to focus on good memories that are not money-based. Obviously we all love making the cash and that's the reason why we are there. But it's good to appreciate the little things that make you happy aside from the cash-high. I like having inspiration that comes from good memories, having fun, hilarious moments, etc.

My favorite memory working at the club was around Christmas time in 2013. The club was nicely decorated with beautiful Christmas decor, colorful lights, and the whole place had a winter wonderland vibe. The great moment came when the DJ played the song "Sweet Caroline" by Neil Diamond. I'm not even a fan of Neil Diamond, but it was absolutely amazing when the song was playing, the club was packed, there was a girl in every lap, and EVERYONE started singing along to the lyrics "Sweet Caroline...good times never seemed so good..." - all the customers and dancers were singing along in unison, and everyone was smiling and seemed so happy in that moment. It was like the entire club became ONE, and I can't even explain the wonderful feeling. It was like time had stopped and everyone had finally found peace and serenity in that moment.

LOL- Yes, this post is cheesy as hell, but I've been feeling sentimental lately. No shame or harm in that.

What are your greatest, happiest moments working in the strip club (aside from getting paid)?

This was when I first began dancing. It was st pattys day shift at the dive I was working at. And it was so slow but there were a couple of customers who came in to celebrate with us and were buying the girls and I drinks. We were all having a good time even though the day wasn't good money wise.

My first time ever dancing will always stick with me as one of my best days ever. I felt like superman when he realized he can fly.

Winning my first strip club contest was pretty awesome, too. My trophy still sits in a place of honor in my home office.

My first comedic strip show was amazing. I was an opener for a porn star, and I brought the house down with my "granny" costume. I made over $300 in stage tips in less than 10 minutes.

That one time when the club turned into a male strip club for the evening and some poor, unsuspecting, out-of-town businessman wandered into the place before the male strippers took the stage. He didn't immediately notice that all of the customers were women. I was the last female stripper on stage for the evening, and he tipped me generously for my show, so I sat with him after my set. That was when he noticed all the women in the bar and asked me if this was actually a lesbian club. I explained what was going on just before the male stripper's MC started the show. I sold a VIP to him right then and there and we stayed for 3 hours. After the 1st hour, we shared the space with male strippers giving lap dances to the female customers. It was so weird to be surrounded by naked beefcake writhing around in our VIP room. I almost wish I could have been on mushrooms or something-- the experience was so surreal.
*I made more $$ from that customer than any of the male strippers working that night. It was one of the most awesome nights of my career.

My first summer working I did a VIP with this guy who was a retired history professor. We spent the time quizzing each other on history and also my day job field. It was awesome & he tipped me 50%.

So when the new owners took over there were a lot of changes. Changes in the way the club was run, the type of dancers they hired (and kept), and a lot of renovating. After the first round of renovations was done, the husband owner was convinced by others that he needed to celebrate. At midnight we used to have all the dancers on stage for a 2 song set. We danced for the first song, then he grabbed the mic for the 2nd. He told all the dancers under 21 they could leave the stage and get dances. Counted the # of dancers and staff over 21 and told the bartender to make up X amount of shots. While she was pouring, he started thanking the girls and the customers. Talked about his hopes for a better club and good times to all. Got the shots passed out, proposed a toast, and we took our (free) shots. At the end of the night, he announced an open invite to all for breakfast at Denny's and he would pay for it. He was shammered that night. I haven't seen him drink in the club since then.

Another time, it was a god awful dead night. The only customers that came in were the ones we called around 10pm and asked to come hang out with us wether they had money or not. Seriously, it was the worst. Around midnight the owners and bartender started clearing the bar. We were confused until they started spraying it with the water gun. Yes, we turned the bar top into a Slip N Slide. After that was all done, we cleaned up and closed the bar early.

About three years ago I decided to dance full time. I also broke up with a shitty boyfriend and suddenly started making twice as much money. So it was a great time in my career, I was really enjoying myself working lots of shifts and mastering the hustle. One night I got a wild hair up my ass and went around the club all night calling myself Unicorn Rainbow. At the end of the night I found this lawyer who was quite taken with me. He took me to the champagne room, tipped me and the hostess $100 each up front, and was just delightful to be around. I didn't even dance, we just laughed and talked. At the end of the room he said to me, "Unicorn, this is a special moment. Tell me where you want to be in ten years and it will happen."

That was three years ago this month. Can't wait to see if my dreams really do come true!

Lots of them. I'll just throw some off the top of my head:

When working a stage bikini club in Silicon Valley; a group of young techies who played rec basketball would come in afterwards. There was a few of us they liked. When we got on stage, they would bow to us and say "We're not worthy, we're not worthy" and then make it rain.

Small topless bar in LA: a guy came in who had just divorced, he was drinking. He did like me. On my stage set: I made $350 in 8 mins. Overall that night, I made close to $900...but my tip out (including everyone, house, et.) was ony $20!

My current club a while back. Was trying hustle some ass hats from Salvador. They were being rude and grabbing, laughing while doing it. Our of nowhere, this 6'3" , fit hunk of blondness asks me politely in a sexy South African accent if I would like to get some dances. Umm....YESSS! He was nearly perfect. Outrageously handsome, polite, intelligent, a complete gentleman in the lap area. When he rescued me, I looked at those 5'2" butt heads, smiled wide and stuck my tongue out at them He also bought a nice string of dances.

When I worked in Cabo San Lucas, topless bar (clean club)-the club had just opened and it was pretty slow. I was put on stage and I told the DJ to just choose music for me. He put on some reggaeton type music. I danced freestyle in a salsa- merengue style. I was kind of in my own world for a bit, then I looked up to see a good 10 or so Mexican dancers around my stage with surprised faces! They all tipped and applauded when I was done! I guess they didn't think 'gringas' could dance

Those are just a few that come to mind.

Watching two of the best dancers I ever knew (one was Bucky from Shotgun Willie's in Billings, Montana) on stage. It was a chance to set aside all the bullshit and stress of the club & hustling....and see a beautiful person do amazing things as a performance.

I don't want to out the other girl b/c she wasn't as famous as Bucky, but the other girl could do backflips in high heels. I'm not kidding.
