So this is the most annoying fucked up injury I've had to date.I coughed and the whole left side of my back gave out when I was getting ready for work Sunday evening. Apparently the joint at the small of my back is sprained--over the last few days I've just been resting and doing some sewing work that came in--ok so not actually resting like in bed resting a lot--that shit drives me crazy after 1 day. I'm wondering if anyone else has ever done this and gone back to work before it was fully healed? I'm supposed to be good to return to work Saturday, but there's still a lot of stiffness, and one of my friends said he did this and it took 3 weeks for him to be pain free...I'm not really in the position where I can just not work at all for 3 weeks, 1 week, fine. Anything you did to help it heal faster? Stretches? I'm going nuts being cooped up in my appartment and I debating going into work tonight or tmrw anyway out of boredom and if I'm in a lot of pain just bouncing. I figure there must be SOME way I can work around this injury, the manager already said I don't have to do stage if I'm still hurting when I called earlier this week. Do you guys think doing a few lapdances will really impede recovery time? As much as I'm bored and want to get back to work already, I also don't want to do anything to make it worse.
