Default OMG Audio Troublez Help Pls!

I dunno if anyone else suffers with the horrible audio quality difficulties that I do but if anyone can help.... please... holy shit, it's so annoying!

I have a logitech c910 and I like to play music while I cam. If I have RightSound on, it makes my music sound h-o-r-r-i-b-l-e and my voice sound a tiny bit like I'm stuck in a tunnel but my feed is otherwise clear. If I turn RightSound off, it sounds like there's a hurricane happening. Like, inside my room. The sound of my laptop's fan, the fan in my room, noises outside, it's on full blast... but my music and voice sounds so good in the meantime.

I want the best of both worlds. I see some ladies broadcasting with amazing audio quality and I need to know HOW??

I've heard that in some girls' toms and it is awful yes.

Are you on a laptop and playing music on the laptop? If so I would tell you to play music on your phone/radio/etc so that the music source isn't as close to your mic.

I play music on my computer but I have external USB speakers and no complaints.

I am on a laptop but I have my music playing from an extended display (my big tv) behind the cam half way across the room. I said fuck it and just went online with the noise cancellation turned on, played my music at a volume that sounded good in my test recording (though super muffled) and actually got a good few compliments on my song choices. X) So I guess people just really aren't that picky. As long as I get to hear it crisp and clear on my end, guess it shouldn't bug me.

Have you tried using a tripod?

I never had good results with securing my cam to a laptop. The biggest problem is that when you type, click, move the mouse, it causes the cam to constantly bounce and move. Guys become sea sick and leave. You can have the best quality internet and computer, but if your cam is moving as if someone is running a marathon with a camcorder, then customers may not be able to enjoy what you have to offer.

With the audio problem, it could be that your built-in laptop microphone is causing interference with the cam mic. Especially since the built-in mic is often at the upper area of a laptop. Disabling the built in mic in device manager might help.

If you want to get really fancy, just buy a noise-cancelling conference room microphone. They only pick up the frequencies associated with human voices so fans etc. are muted out.

I haven't gotten a tripod but have noticed in other cam rooms the whole shaky cam thing. I barely ever touch my laptop unless it's to tilt the cam up or down during a show and at those times, I need to tilt the screen so I can see it when I lay down anyway so it's working for me so far. n_n

That sounds amazing, maybe that's what those girls are using where their voices just sound crystal clear with no distortion or background noise! I have the worst hissss when I turn off noise suppression (and I did make sure only my webcam mic is enabled). I'll have to save up and go that route!
