Default Must haves & Favorite products, Cammer edition!

Evening everyone! I've been thinking about starting this thread for a while. I've been camming a little over two years and I still find so many products I've never used, but would love to try. As a result, I've become a ratings junkie which, while helpful, never tells the whole story for a product/service. I'm sure I'm missing out on some camgirl gems and I'd love to find them.

What I'd like to do here is have people post their favorite/must have items & why for the following: Tech, Health/Beauty, Tools of the Trade, & Productivity. I tried to keep the categories a bit broad so we can have a larger variety of products/services.

    My list is as follows:
    Tech: hidemyass.com -ip randomization
Any site with the word "ass" in the title automatically tickles me pink for some reason. I upgraded to their "Smart Ass" plan and have not been disappointed. The free version gave me some problems, but with their 30 day money back guarantee, I decided to try the paid version. It's nice not to live in fear when you work on multiple sites, some of which have serious privacy issue. Definitely a must have if you use skype.

    Health/Beauty: D-mannose -Urinary Health supplement
As a UTI sufferer, camming is hard on my system. I started taking 500mg daily and went from a UTI a week to 1 in the last 6 months. I am extremely happy with my results and recommend it for anyone with bladder/uti problems.

Tools of the Trade: Vie water+silicone gel lube
I've been using this stuff for almost a year and have yet to find anything nearly as good. It's hypoallergenic, paraben free, and lasts FOREVER. Like a bottle lasts me around 3 months when I'm camming full time! It's thick, isn't sticky, doesn't stain, and doesn't dry out easily. It also can be used on nearly every toy and a little goes a long way

    Productivity: Twuffer -tweet scheduling site
I like my tweet schedulers like I like my men: Reliable, easy to use, and not annoying. Twuffer provides all of this with a super easy to use interface, reliable tweet scheduling, and no spamming. You can also schedule up to a few hundred tweets at a time. If you don't use their product for a week, you don't get an annoying "Come back" or "Look what we've changed" email. They've been around for years and I've never had a problem with their services.

Ready, set, GO ladies! I want to hear your favorites!

    Tech:
Any Video Converter - you can get the free version and it works amazingly. Sometimes I need to convert a video or two and it allows me to add as many as I want to the queue and convert to any kind of file type. Makes it easier if I need to convert to a smaller file size and it's crazy easy to use.

Umbrella Lighting - link here - cheap and can be put away, fits under my bed or in my closet so I don't have to leave it out all of the time. Makes camming or filming look so much better!

    Tools of the Trade:
Liquid Silk - link here - it's a little expensive, but I bought my bottle over a year ago and am still using it! A little goes a long way, it doesn't dry up, and it lubricates very well. It also helps if you want to appear "creamier" or wetter than you might usually look.

    Health:
RepHresh - link here - I was doing a lot of shows/videos and was getting very sore down "there" and some toys/lubes were causing issues with my balance. Oh sweet jesus, I felt so much better using this stuff!

I won't go off on a rant about this but people should really boycott a product like HideMyAss who's track record of supporting anonymity and freedom is as good as the NSA's.

A cheaper, more ethical and arguable better VPN would be PureVPN. Great speed and heaps of servers to choose from as well.

P.s. Caramelcraze you should check out this chrome extension here.

Omg... If I were in school still, I'd totally put this on a school network to prank people! That is awesome!

I actually have some of the gel RepHresh in my bathroom drawer! It's the only product of theirs I've tried, but it's definitely amazing.

I just read this for you.. I am all into vitamin and mineral deficiencies and why we get the things we do .. couldn't find much on the UTI's but this.

The best way to get rid of a UTI is to boost your fluid intake. This is best done by increasing your consumption of water and by increasing plenty of fruits or vegetables that have a high water content in your diet. A diet high in fresh fruit and vegetables can also help build immunity. Certain juices such as cranberry juice can help get rid of the bacteria that cause common urinary tract infections. Another way to reduce symptoms and prevent the recurrence of UTIs is to increase your intake of vitamin C. Vitamin C helps prevent bacterial infections, improves immunity and balances out acidity levels in the bladder and urinary tract. Other foods that increase the alkaline levels in urine include milk, fresh fruits and vegetables. A diet rich in processed and fatty foods, alcohol, caffeine and spice can also increase your risk of an infection. Avoid tobacco, carbonated beverages, and products made with refined flour and sugar as these products can lower the body’s capacity to fight an infection. Recent reports also suggest that artificial sweeteners that contain aspartame may aggravate bladder and kidney infections. Avoid such sweeteners if you are prone to infections or are currently suffering from a UTI.

Health/Beauty I would say Tendskin is my must have. If you Shave or wax at all then you need to try this.

I've tried literally everything! This has been an ongoing thing for almost 7 years. I've been to multiple urologists, gynos, and even an immunologist. I've repeatedly stumped all of them. I can't even tell you how many pharmaceuticals and supplements I've used in the past to try to treat this!

I cut out caffeine and nicotine for a year and it only got worse. I rarely drink anymore (like maybe a couple beers a month if I'm feeling crazy). I was taking a cranberry supplement (which initially helped, but after a couple years I built up a tolerance I think). tart cherry juice helps, but in order for it to work I end up going through half a bottle a day and it's not exactly cheap ($90 for a 12 pack ). I drink shit loads of water, so it's not that. I also don't eat many processed foods and have a mostly plant based diet. Changing lube helped (I think I was allergic to something in my last stuff), but didn't completely fix the problem. Hell, I even stopped camming and switched to strictly fetish stuff at one point and was STILL getting uti's.

Someone mentioned the d-mannose on another thread a while back and I gave it a try. I honestly didn't think it would work, but my urologist was ready to try to talk me into surgery for something that "may" work, so it was my last resort. I did a complete 180 within a week of taking it. Gone are the nights of setting alarms every three hours so I could pee round the clock. Gone are the days where I dreaded having sex. Heck, I can even have a soda on occasion without spending the rest of the day chugging water and taking pills to offset it. It's been a miracle for me. Even my urologist is shocked. The only time I've had a flare up since was when I was on vacation, enjoyed a bit of activity, and skipped a few dosages. Definitely learned my lesson and the uti went away within a few hours of me taking it again. Plus, $17 a month for something that works is way better than what I had been spending on all the crap that never seemed to fix the problem fully. 10 out of 10 stars for this product IMO

Well I don't know why I didn't think of this but this stuff is the best that money can buy.. I have been using his products since 2004.. https://www.herbdoc.com/k-b-formula-kidney-bladder.html
It's worth a shot if you can clear out any reasoning of getting these UTi's.. he also has a blog.. www.herbdocblog.com
SAW PALMETTO BERRIES: This berry is best known for its benefit for males with an enlarged prostate. It has also been known to help with reducing the swelling in the lower pelvis and controlling urinary tract infection.

It's more than just treating a symptom ... You have to WONDER why your body is spitting out UTI's , what is the real cause.. not just treating the symptom for relief.... took me about 8 months to figure out why I had shortness of breath.. TONS of research.. .. .the doctor was NOT much help either.

I'll check out the links asap! Thank you!
I think it's partially genetic factors. One of my siblings gets UTI's about half a dozen times a year, so we may just be prone to them.

^I've used their moisturizing lotion before and LOVED it. I haven't tried the liquid tendskin yet. Does it dry out skin or is it pretty gentle?

I'm with you on the D-Mannose. I also used to get UTI's really easily and until I found D-Mannose I was taking antibiotics all the time. I also tried every fucking herb imaginable...cranberry extract, uva ursi, dandelion etc. With the diuretic herbs, it actually got worse because I would get dehydrated. The Uva Ursi was especially problematic, because it also gave me a rash on my face in addition to constant dizziness due to dehydration. The same happens to me with apple cider vinegar. I honestly just think it is because our urethras are especially small and can trap bacteria easier from penetration and moisture. I also have issues with blood circulation and low blood pressure and I'm certain it's all related. Stay away from Stevia at all costs, that shit will lower your blood pressure faster and stronger than any blood pressure medication. For the longest time I was drinking Starbucks iced tea drinks and getting fainting spells and sure enough there was Stevia in the ingredients.

The reason why cutting out caffeine and nicotine made things worse is probably due to the lowering of your blood pressure. Our bodies get used to relying on stimulants and for people with low blood pressure it can be especially problematic when we cut out stimulants cold turkey.

I'm another urinary tract problem child. I used to think I had chronic UTIs, but it turns out it's actually Interstitial Cystitis. If you have a UTI test that comes back clean, that may be what it is. Luckily I'm able to treat it with Azo pain meds and my flare ups don't last too long, but if it gets any worse I'm going to look into other options.

@DeepThoughts I also swear by Tend Skin! I have really sensitive skin and used to get shaving rash if I even *looked* at a razor but that stuff worked wonders. No more red bumps, no more ingrowns...it's awesome.

Some of my camming necessities are:

    Beauty products:
Benefit's Stay Flawless 15-Hour Primer - makeup stays in place for my entire shift and rarely needs a touch-up
Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Liquid Lipstick - comes in a bunch of good colors and doesn't budge (even lasts through multiple BJ shows). I have to use makeup remover to get it off at the end of the day.
NYX HD Finishing Powder - slightly mattifying loose powder that gives a really nice finish on cam (not too "dewy" but not too flat). Super cheap too!
Dermablend for body - Great heavy duty body makeup to cover razor burn, bug bites, body acne, scars, etc. Stays in place really well if you use the setting powder and don't get oil/lube on it.

    Tools of the trade:
Baby Wipes - Probably my most-used camming item aside from lube. I usually get the Pamper's Sensitive ones in bulk on Amazon
Coconut oil - Still my favorite lube since it's fairly cheap and I can buy it in bulk. I'm on the hunt for some good fake cum lube though.

    Organization:
Sterilite three-drawer containers - I have several of these in my room and they're perfect for keeping toys and camming necessities nearby, plus they're inexpensive and easy to find at WalMart/Target/Lowes etc.

Have they looked into the possibility that it may not be UTIs??
It took me 10 years of pain and suffering to get a diagnosis of Interstitial Cystitis which can be misdiagnosed as a uti for years or bladder infections.
It is hard to diagnose but it can have a lot of the same symptoms. Look it up and see if this might be something worth looking into for you. Mine is quite severe and on a bad day I go to the bathroom 60+ times a day. I will not drink any regular bottle water or tap water. I go for alkaline water. The best I have found is Essentia which has a pH of 9.5. The best of the regular bottled water would be Fiji water as far as pH goes. Most doctors and even urologists are clueless when it comes to interstitial cystitis (I.C. for short) and there are limited ways of confirming the diagnosis. Hope that it's not I.C. for you as there is no cure for it. I definitely wouldn't wish it on anyone but I do hope that you get some answers soon!

I didn't read your reply until I already posted my respone. Wow, another I.C. lady! Wasn't sure if there was another camming chick that had it. I have been feeling so alone in my camming journey with this. Nobody seems to understand what it's like. Glad I'm not alone! I have tried a lot of things for relief and like I mentioned in my last reply Alkaline water helps a LOT during bad flare ups. Not sure if you have tried it or not.

I haven't but I'm definitely going to give that a try! So far I've been ok just using pain meds occasionally when I need them, but I would MUCH rather prevent flare ups from occurring.

I feel ya. Hopefully it works for you like it has for me. I've also heard a lot about Desert Harvest Aloe Vera capsules. Apparently it's very good for i.c. as well. Haven't gotten around to trying it yet

I did a potassium test for IC 3 or 4 years back and it was negative. I do love Azo products though! They can be a real life saver.

    Great tips here, thank yeeeeew!

Hold ups, panties and lube - I get through these at an astounding rate..I end up sticking my heels through panties while trying to get them back on a lot of the time. I also like fruity lube so if I end up licking it it's not such a nightmare!

Excuse double post, just wanted to ask if anyone had any good suggestions for suction dildos or dildos which can basically be erm..ridden lol! I have a jelly one which I love but it doesn't stand up and I think it's about time I got one. I usually do it on the bed, but I suppose I would need to suction it to something more resistant.

Any suggestions for any I could purchase online would be really appreciated!

This one! It's got an awesome suction cup, it actually took the paint off my dresser because it's so strong, not only that, it's dual density, full medical grade silicone so you can boil it to sanitize. It's not as soft as the Vixen Vixskin toys but it comes pretty close.
