Default Hello, my audition is soon and..

Hello, so my name is Leia and I have been looking to work at a strip club in the San Francisco area. I went to one strip club so far and didnt get fully through the audition progress because it turns out they were looking to hire dancers without a lot of tattoos and they wanted to move more towards girls without any. So that was a bust. Now i'm looking to audition at another one and they have told me they are looking for dancers and they have audtions all through out the week. I have been putting it off for 5 days now because i'm so nervous about what will happen at my audition. Any recommendations?

Not sure if you're looking for club recommendations, or just general advice. Have you read any of the Newbie Board or Club Chat threads? Those would be great places to start.

My process to find a new club: start by Googling all the clubs in your area. Make note of which ones are topless, nude, bikini, alcohol, BYOB, etc. Figure out the ones that interest you to work there. Find reviews online, esp customer reviews -- the dirtier they are, the more you will want to avoid that particular club.

Once you've narrowed down your list, take down all the addresses & their contact info. Ring each club to ask if they are hiring, & when they do auditions. Then go to the club as a customer -- dress nice, hair/makeup/nails done, & bring your dancer bag in the car, just in case you get to talking w/ a staffmember who can get you an audition that nite.

But auditioning isn't your main goal on this visit. It's to see for yourself what the club is like -- layouts, pricing, fees, dancer looks & dress requirements, etc. Bring lots of cash & have a dancer who works there answer any questions abt the job & that club in particular. Tip her very well for her time. Since you're brand-new, save sm $$$ & ask your favourite dancer for a private dance so you can see how it's done -- this will also let you see the VIP area & how safe/clean or dirty it really is.
