I think mono-colors are the toughest to pull off for both real hair and wigs. They tend to look much more fake than hair that has some highlights / lowlights. It's also super tough to tell if this would look natural on you since the color of your skin and eyes could make this wig look either SUPER fake or fairly real. So whether the wig will look natural or not depends highly on your individual characteristics.
I'd search for places in town where you can try wigs on, and then purchase one online based on your findings. That may not be an option for you...just a suggestion.![]()

agree - hard to tell on a mannequin
The low prices on these wigs frighten me, but the colors and gradients would probably be easier for most people to pull off compared to a platinum-blonde wig:

When you go platinum or jet black or bright red or blue, people are looking to see if your hair is real or not. And you're going to get much more attention in general - more people will look at you, and their attention will be drawn to your hair. If you wear something much more neutral, people's attention won't be drawn to it as an unusual color, and they're much less likely to notice that it's a wig.
Is this wig for work or will you be wearing it IRL?
Haha, the low prices frightened me too! I think the colors might be great but it might be cheap because the material sucks or it fits badly.
I just ordered a brunette wig from this seller but they have several types of blonde ones. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Black-Medium...item1e66f4d697
@IvaSkye if you're really set on the wig you posted maybe you could alter it a little so it has a more natural cut. I usually buy wigs with bangs and then trim them so they don't look so severe. I used youtube tutorials until I got the hang of it.

It is actually to wear in real life. I do not cam anymore but I do work from home, so just need something to wear when I go shopping or want to spend some time outside of the house.
I posted before about the incident I have with hair bleach. My hair is getting better from protein treatments, but I am not dying it or toning it all and just letting all my natural hair color grow back. I just do not want my roots to keep on showing, especially when there is going to be inches eventually showing.

*had with hair bleach, not have lol.

Maybe I can use this:

It is just a powder root touch up.
I do like the first wig posted though. It looks natural, but I am just afraid it might be really thin in person or something... I guess just $10 wasted is not so bad though if it does not work out.

Nope.

One thing about all wigs pretty much: they have too much hair, so they need to be thinned/cut. A lot of em are too shiny, & there's a tool you buy that you use to take out the shine.
Me personally, I'd buy one w/bangs, it kinda hides the part, which can be a giveaway.

Ok, I like that 2nd blond Ebay one..there's a prod. out for roots called Color Wow, it's in a compact w/a brush, supposed to be really good. They sell it @ Ulta. It's a bit pricey, but Ulta gives coupons & you can build up points to use to take $ off their merch.
