at least nobody wants to pay want I'm asking for. It's been a very long time since I've cammed but this is the reason I stopped. Please help. I know I'm not the only one. What do you do?

Where are you camming? That makes a huge difference.

It makes a different of where you are working and also your attitude when you log on.
I didn't think I would make anything at a higher rate because for years I was at a lower rate and it was a self confidence thing more then anything else, you believe you are worth that rate then you will get it, you have to attract the one who will pay for it because that is what you offer that is your bottom line.
YEs you might have more slower days because you are pricing yourself at a higher price point but that also means the ones who can not afford you are the ones you do not need to be spending your time with.

It's slow right now. We go through these ups and downs.
Piggy backing off Jojo and Laurie I think you should try more sites. In this day and age of camming I don't think one site is enough. I would add in more mainstream and indy sites.

If you don't want to work for a major cam company there are MANY indy listing places online. Do your research. Sign up for more indy sites, place free indy ads, do social marketing, etc. Sell videos. Offer to make customs.

If they don't want to voluntarily pay you, force them to. Get on as many sites as possible and stream for at least 4 hours on multiple sites if your computer specs can handle it. Play with your rates. CMD has changed lately so unless you're logged on all the time, constantly making ads, and or paying for exposure you're probably not going to get found. Or, throw up your own website and promote yourself as well as put yourself out there on ad sites. The money isn't always going to come to you; sometimes you have to go get it. If the sites aren't paying you save the money you have and advertise on your own and do indy shows on skype.
Believe In Your Brand

CMD is an indie listing site, that means you have to bring your own traffic. This is only really possible when you already have a following. you can get more of a following by camming on big box sites, espeically streamate and myfreecams where you're exposed to many people at once, or through modelling, porn, video clips etc. As your following grows so will your pool of potential indie customers. Once upon a time CMD had some of its own traffic (well traffic from the other girls anyway) but since the site upheaval they just all went and now that site is dead as a dodo!
